Every time Kevin O'Heaven trumps Tony the neo cons go into fits of panic  Grin
Its hilarious to watch  Grin

Not as hilarious as watching those who were slagging KRudd not too long ago now believe he has the election in the bag because he finally got one policy right, and that hasn't been implemented as yet.

Where have you been living in the last 24 hours?  The deal is done.  All boaties go to Manus Paradise as of yesterday.

And how many have arrived?
Mmmmmm, none.
Apart from Rudd speaking, and paper being signed, lefties wailing, what else has occurred.
Mmmmmm, nothing.
As I said, not yet implemented.
Labors policy is yet to be tested.

Two boatloads arrived today and they have been informed of the new policy so it is happening as we speak.

Quote:
The first group of asylum seekers to be dealt with under Labor's new hardline approach to boat arrivals could be transferred to Papua New Guinea for processing and possible settlement within weeks.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd declared the policy on Friday, saying the new regime to deny settlement in Australia to asylum seekers who paid people smugglers for unauthorised passage would begin immediately.

The surprise announcement was condemned by refugee advocates as inhumane and praised by the opposition as a "very promising development".
Mr Rudd's hardline approach means people arriving by boat and without a visa will be sent to Australia's Manus Island facility in Papua New Guinea for assessment and, if found to be refugees, they will be settled there.

The first transfers to Manus Island are expected within weeks, following the arrival on Friday of a boat carrying 80 people at the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

"From now on, vessels that are intercepted will have the new rules apply to them and it will be a couple of weeks because of the health checks ... before the first transfers take place," Immigration Minister Tony Burke said.

I remember Gillard signing the Malaysian Solution deal as well - 50,000 illegals later

Nauru was the only option that Tony would support with his recommendation of "just call Nauru". That was the Liberal policy and typical 3 word mantra for over 3 years. Yes "just call Nauru",

It was the only legislative change to allow off shore processing that Abbott would support and it failed miserably - the Liberals were wrong, Abbott was wrong and he continued to oppose options which may have worked.

Abbott has done everything he possibly could to ensure that the boats kept coming and kept sinking.

Back in 2007 - Rudd jumped on the bandwagon with the self proclaimed moral voters with mass condemnations over the LIBs policies in areas such as

(1) Pacific Solution
(2) Workchoices
(3) Climate Change
(4) Homelessness
(5) Loyalty - no backstabbing
(6) Fix the Murray-Darling

(1) Pacific Solution

I think you would find that the great majority of left leaning people still support on shore processing or any more humane solution.

(2) Workchoices

All still oppose workchoices even in the new forms that Abbott has in his direction documentation.

(3) Climate Change

Most still support action on climate and still understand that the Liberals will do nothing.

(4) Homelessness

Remind me again how the Liberals sacking everyone they can is going to solve this?

(5) Loyalty - no backstabbing

Maybe mention that to Turnbull, or Costello etc for about 2 pages of Liberal names.

(6) Fix the Murray-Darling

Is it broken again - must be an election year the Libs have had a fix the Murray policy for every election since 1996.

How many times has be seen the Pink Batts victims' families to apologise?

Pink Batts® are a product brand of Fletcher Insulation®
The product you are looking for is foil insulation
( ... Tony Abbott has a problem pronouncing ˌinsulation ?)

There were NO "pink batts" involved in the workplace fatalities

DO try and get the basics right

1. has just been dealt with.
2. also in the process (there will be no jobs soon)
3. I now have solar and haven't paid for electricity in the past 3 years, just doing my bit, thanks Ruddy
4. is only a mindset isn't it. Like the saying goes, you cant believe everything you see on TV.
5. loyalty for himself is there, and all the back stabbers are gone
6. it is fixed........he made a deal with the rain gods......Floods, glorious floods........not sure about those desal plants though

He hasn't jumped the wagon
