Rudd has many ideas but no policies

We've seen Rudd campaigning in 2007 with plenty of ideas

Ideas are pipe-dreams

Rudd has hundreds of them

Policies are realistic, strategic, cost effective and effective actions to realise ideas

Can anyone name 5 Rudd policies that worked?

I can name one..he stopped the country from falling into a decade long recession while the rest of the world fell headlong into the GFC.

But according to you he doesn't need to release policies Gumpy, THE ELECTION HASN'T BEEN CALLED YET. Once the election is called I'm sure he will release all the policy details.

Maqqa,
Labor passed over 500 pieces of legislation.
Your 5 policies has been met for your test by a factor of 100.

No, but I’ll name 3:

DITCH THE WITCH
AXE THE TAX
STOP THE BOATS

Rudd’s done 2, and will do the 3rd if Abbott lets him. And in doing so, he’s just done the work of an entire Abbott first term in less than a month.

STOP THE BOATS.

I thought he had released his policies. We all know them.

The only one Rudd hasn’t started on is Abbott’s most unpopular policy of all:

END THE LABOR WASTE.

They’ve done that in Queensland, and it seems to be a tad on the nose with voters up there, many of whom are out of a job.

To win this election, Rudd now needs to push this point home and sell himself as the candidate of hope. People are listening to Labor again. The Libs have clammed up.

With Rudd, Labor is now in a prime position to sell itself as the party of economic reform, a la Hawke and Keating. Rudd held off the effects of the GFC - people are now in a position to actually hear this message.

People now trust Rudd. And nobody knows what Abbott stands for.

I’ve never been a big Labor fan, but Rudd’s is the comeback story of a lifetime. If I’m thinking this, what are the voters of Western Sydney thinking?

I can tell you, because I’m one of them too. They’ve warmed to Rudd - they’re not against Abbott. They actually like Kevin Rudd.

For a pitician, this has to be a first, and it’s why I’ve turned around completely to call this election in Labor’s favour.
