The first debate
Jul 20th, 2013 at 11:28am

With the election being called over the next few days the first debate on the economy between Tony and Kevin will be worth watching. Will Tony be able to get beyond simple three word slogans and actually join in real discussion on the economy or will Kevin wipe the floor with him.
Tony can run...BUT HE CANT HIDE  Grin

I think Hockey would be better than Abbott in debating Rudd. He got plenty of practice on Sunrise.

What a good debate it was before, with Mr Rudd and john Howard.  Mr Rudd is very good at debates.  Tony must be worried.      Smiley

In 2010 - Labor was worried Rudd would lose the debate which is why they knifed him for Gillard

In 2013 - Rudd has no choice but face Abbott in an election debate

But Rudd is not man enough to call an election

What makes you say that?

And even if he did what is wrong with that?

I would encourage him to mass-debate as much as he can before the election

Then during the election he would have shot his load and be as limp as a dishrag

Mr Abbott was a star student at Oxford so if he has no debating skills it seriously makes me wonder what he did in all his years at uni.
Maybe he spent his years as an arts student finger painting and beating up female students  Grin

I said I will vote Labor because I want them to teach Australians a lesson of how to be absolutely buggered up the ar#e by the Labor Party

I have not changed that tone one bit

I want to see Australia turn into a Zimbabwe under Mugabe Rudd

You asked why shouldn't he - and I said he should

Yeah, but when he starts to BS he either laughs, or starts to bluster.

I want to see Tony and Rudd, one on one, without any noddies behind either one.

Abbott will need to be checked for wires though......
