Rudd's PNG arrangement is doomed to fail in another costly flop that taxpayers will have to foot the bill for...
1. We get more than 800 a week by boat, while the camp in PNG can hold just 300 at a stretch. Expanded accommodation won't be built til next year, so where will Rudd put these people?
2. Only single men over 18 will be sent to PNG, as the facilities there are unsuitable for women and children. Watch for a surge in families with children coming by boat. Also, watch for single men claiming that this woman is his wife and those kids are his. He won't get sent to PNG.
3. Free to roam on PNG, so what's to stop them paying some PNG fisherman to take them the short distance to the Australian mainland?
