Am I destined for LIFE, to be the object of Andrei's rather "bizarre" block of fantasies ?

1/
I neither supported or opposed Gillard's rise to the leadership
I left this decision SOLELY ENTRUSTED in the hands of the Labor Caucus
I have NEVER claimed any different
( ... unlike yours truly - who changes nationality based on cricket scores and Starbuck's accessibility)
I had - and still have - enormous respect for the passion of BOTH

2/
I SUPPORTED a return to Rudd as leader - as the ONLY chance of avoiding the LibNat's being handed - on a plate - a land-slide victory

3/
I did NOT have an education identical to Andrei's

4/
I DO have a job

5/
I DO pay tax

Correct. Many ALP heavies and other well connected people have my number on their speed dial. I can't remember just how many calls I have received over the last 3 days telling me of a move to reinstall Gillard. I'll keep OP tragics informed.

they are probably telling krudd BACK OFF...as once again he is jumping in where angels fear to tread....and we all know what happens when he does... dont we??

I wonder how many of those calling for Gillard's return are actually Lib/Nats running scared?

GILLARD is dead and buried and never to return. Kevin has put the fix in and ensured that won't happen again.

KEVIN Rudd's reforms to how Labor's leadership is elected have been overwhelmingly supported in a special caucus meeting.

A number of senior speakers put debates for and against the reforms which would ensure it was harder for a leader to be rolled.

Former Communications Minister Stephen Conroy and Defence Minister Stephen Smith were among those who spoke against the reform.

Under the new rules an elected leader could not be removed from their position.

In opposition a leader could only be removed in the circumstances of the incumbent's resignation or after a petition backed by at least 60 per cent of the caucus.

Rank and file members would also get a vote in choosing a new leader.

The ability of caucus to choose the ministry would also be restored under the plan.

The initial proposal was for 75 per cent of the caucus to sign a petition for a leadership change.

But it was watered down to 60 per cent.

Sources said Mr Rudd recognised "in opposition it was a different circumstance" to change the leader.

Mr Rudd said the party had "decided to democratise the party for the future".

"Today the ALP has passed one of the most significant reforms in the party's recent history," Mr Rudd said.

"Each of our members now gets to have a say, a real say in the leadership of the party.

"The leadership of the party is now not in the hands of a factional few."

And has come back to support a hard line Right wing policy which shuts the door on refugees and dumps them on a third world nation.

Playing politics with refugees supported by Buzz the "humanitarian".

Meanwhile real humanitarian advocates and groups have slammed the ALPs policy as "shameful" and "disgusting".

Not Buzz the humanitarian, whose morals are as weak as his socialism.
It's all weak and without virtue clearly.
No real humanitarian would support this.

Have a read of what Amnesty thinks of Australia.

Andrei, you keep running mate, what's the matter? You can't answer a simple question?

When was the last time you voted labor at a Australian federal election?
