Playing politics with refugees supported by Buzz the "humanitarian".

yes it is a conundrum isnt it?..

NOT REALLY

From the "humanitarian" view - I don't "support" it in the SLIGHTEST
But since the matter of refugees was so SHAMELESSLY turned into a LEFT vs RIGHT issue by John "we will decide who comes here" Howard - we aren't given too many options

... and I agree, it DOES "stink to high hell"

HOWEVER, Under THIS plan there will be REAL processing centres - that are not just a front for prisons, offering NO HOPE of anything but a life behind razor wire - such as the "Pacific Solution"

A refugee, once processed as genuine - will be a FREE MAN, albeit, not in the best choice of country

One FREE of car bombs, white vans - and the Taliban

And an Australia - FREE of Tony Abbott

( ... and you don't think refugees are fleeing from FAR WORSE "human rights issues ?)

Buzz by comparison supported the ousting of Rudd in 2010 and said a change of direction was needed.

He now supports the ousting of Gillard - I assume this is for another change in direction.

Am I destined for LIFE, to be the object of Andrei's rather "bizarre" block of fantasies ?

1/
I neither supported or opposed Gillard's rise to the leadership
I left this decision SOLELY ENTRUSTED in the hands of the Labor Caucus
I have NEVER claimed any different
( ... unlike yours truly - who changes nationality based on cricket scores and Starbuck's accessibility)
I had - and still have - enormous respect for the passion of BOTH

2/
I SUPPORTED a return to Rudd as leader - as the ONLY chance of avoiding the LibNat's being handed - on a plate - a land-slide victory

3/
I did NOT have an education identical to Andrei's

4/
I DO have a job

5/
I DO pay tax

COULDNT HELP BUT NOTICE YOU BARELY MADE AN APPEARANCE DURING THE GILLARD YEARS THOUGH... IF  THE LIBS HADNT GOT IN IN VIC.. YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN FLAT OUT FINDING SOMETHING TO DO WITH YOUR CRAYONS.

In fact quite a few lefties disappeared durin gthe gillard years... Grin..understandable.

I think we all spotted that!  Buzz returns when things look good for labor and disappears when not.  I guess now he will be getting ready to start his 'Abbott Alert' thread for the next election.

not too much 'fear' being felt in LNP ranks when Rudd has already started his predictable fall in the polls back to 52/48

Buzz is not exactly the sharpest tool in the box.
I don't think he is able to cope with things when they don't go his way.

Stick on some Kylie, put the pink apron on and dance around the caravan I think - forget the world exists.
Which I think is kinda easy when you live in Nowhere-ville, Victoria.

With Rudd's inhumane PNG announced last week and the backlash expected all the way through the election - some at Caucus today flags the return of Gillard

Maqqa

They had to do this, on this issue alone they looked like losing 10 seats in Sydney's west alone.
I love watching the ALP look like a child presented with a bowl of peas to eat.

This stuff is just not in their DNA.
