She is from New-Brunswick, the French speaking part of Canada and her name is Stephanie Roy, 24 years old. She is currently residing in Ottawa. She converted on July 28, 2012 from Catholicism to Islam. She is an avid blogger and Youtuber and the Editor-in-Chief of Open Interpretations, a newsletter about Islam from a progressive and interfaith perspective.

Whats your point? Are any of these women clothed in black potato sacks with only their eyes showing through tiny slits? What about their clitoris? Shall we compare which culture or religion where a woman is more likley to not have a clitoris because its been brutally mutlilated as a child? What else shall we compare? How about the number of 11 and 12 year olds forced into arranged marriages amongst Muslims and legally condoned in thier countries . i.e. legalised pedophilia.

Basically it's a identity quest that those loonies have involved themselves in. If one is looking for spiritual answers, well his own people religion can help a big deal, not to mention catholicism for the canadian girl.

Have a maroccan friend, woman, like to tease her about Islam as she's a quite orthodoxe believer. I ask : "Well, ok, guys got 75 virgins in Heaven once they died for Allah's sake. But what about women ? What do you get up there ? 75 boys ?" And then she replies laughing "Mmmm, probably yes".

Cheesy

So i keep asking, "Ok so Heaven is all about having booth and gogo dancers club all around ?". And then again "Well, yes, because on earth we refused to enjoy that, so we will be given thousand of times of it".

Not much spiritual, indeed.

72 virgins are not mentioned in the Quran or the most authentic books of hadeeth. It is simply something brought up by Islamophobes in desperate attempt to discredit Islam.

The Quran informs of God's promise that those He is pleased with (monotheistic doers of good deed) will be admitted to an everlasting Paradise where people live in bliss - both tangible and spiritual:

there will be twofold reward for what they did

As far as I am aware, ciltorodectomy is not endorsed by any religion. It is purely a cultural practice. This is borne out where it is practiced in parts of Africa as it practiced by pagans, Christians and Muslims - but is based in ancient culture not religion. The practice is referred to as "Pharonic circumcision" which should give you some idea of how ancient the practice is and how it predates both Christianity and Islam.

Forced marriage actually contradicts Islamic law, and is practiced only by ignorant village idiots. It is akin to shotgun marriages that were, until recently, common in rural US.

Vitamin D should not really be the issue that islamophobes try to make it out to be.

In Muslim countries, houses have traditionally been built as compounds with high walls surrounding the house and garden where women were able to sunbathe without strangers perving on them.

The Islamic caliphs even established planning restrictions that limited heights of houses so that women's privacy could not be violated in their homes by someone building a multi-storey house next door.

Today, in Australia, if one has a backyard, fast-growing bushes can be planted around the property borders in order to provide private areas. Alternatively, as Australia is a large and sparsely-populated country, a family can easily drive a short distance to find an isolated area where women can enjoy privacy in nature. I often take my family camping in isolated areas and it doesn't cost much to do so. A woman can even get sunlight by sitting next to window that faces the sun for 10 minutes. Otherwise, vitamin D supplements are readily available for those who live in windowless, backyardless homes, and who do not have cars.

Or simply, just don't cover up, since not everyone has a house with backyard.
This is pretty sick mentality.
