Taking the Union Jack home.

Prince William, when King - WILL be removing the Union Jack from the Australian Flag officially and declaring Australia '
Politically Independent'
(or in Laymans: "
You're on your own - you Dole Bludgers
!").

...the nations of the World are gathering like Wolves.

A word of advice from Douglas Adams to Australia:

I don't think anyone in the Royal family would be game to call people out on "welfare" ... since they are the kings and queens of freeloaders...

I think you get the drift, more than just the subject of 'welfare'. Wink

And I'm sure he'll do the same thing to the other 13 or so nations and states that also have the Union Jack on their flags..

They also work pretty hard, the Queen most of all, at an age where most people would be at least 20 years into their retirement.

She walks from her car or plane, says a few words, accepts a few curtsies and walks back to her vehicle. Most people her age should do that little bit  of walking on a regular basis to keep them fit, but it's more about breathing than work.

The royals don't work like us commoners work, there's two entirely different meanings to the word 'work' there.

Tradition is another facet of 'predictability' ...much like the outcomes in Rugby Union compared to other codes of sport.

Tradition has its negative aspects like Indigenous peoples hunting endangered species in this day and age because they 'traditionally' have done so - although the world is no longer 'traditionally' like it used to be for them.

Don't get me wrong, I personally like the Queen and what they do besides being a Tourism drawcard. Sort of like a Movie and Actors that are actually set in the stone of History. They do wonderful Charitable work and deal with the stress of major decisions in the world, especially Political. The stress of Perfectionism is always there.

But they are really an Archaic peice of culture in the New Europe ...a Europe that is being united by Music and not Politics, that is being saved by Medicine and not Military.
Prince William standing in his regal Military attire as if 'important' to the future of Europe when it is the Surgeon that holds the proud name of ARTHUR because what was once a Sword is now a Scalpel ...not a Gun (*projectile weapon)

But besides all that, the UK has 'traditionally' always rejected, cast away, etc - all that is Australia.

...only after then, will they see - that it is Australia that are the Puritants and Americans that are the Criminals.

*Projectile Weapon: Boomerang, Spears, Woomera (Aboriginal); Boomerang, Spears, Bows/Arrows (Egyptian); Bows/Arrows, Spears (Asian); Bows/Arrows, Tomohawks, Spears, BlowDarts (Americas); Spears, Asegais, BlowDarts, Bows/Arrows (Africa)  ...mostly 'Darkie' weapons. Grin

Sure the Nipponese (Japs) had Swords, but their Swords were made so - as to compensate for their inferior and poor Sword play or manouvers.
The Middle-East also had Swords, and the Scimitar was a powerful Sword indeed...
...but the Double-Edged European swords were always the more effective.

It won't be Wee-Willy's decision.

The trouble with changing the flag is what to change it to.

You change it to 50% of what Australia is to itself
and the other 50% of what this country is to the World.

...and if you know what the 'Big Picture' is  Wink
