This race to see who can be the 'hardest' on the unemployed is a smacking disgrace.

And notice that Rudd also is trying to wriggle out of granting the increase the
unemployed so desperately need.

This country should hang its head in shame for the treatment of its unemployed.

And those calling for harsher measures, IMO, deserve to lose their jobs, so they
can then suffer the pain and the ridicule that they so gleefully wish on others.

Stop scuttling 'domestic' business in favour of International, like our Manufacturing sector for example and we would have plenty of jobs for the Unemployed in an era where the Global Economy has been scuttled once again by those Economic 'Pretenders' known as 'The West' (USA/UK).

Rudd is a decent 'well spoken' Political personality, who relies heavily upon the MEDIA who really does control the mindlessness of the Australian population to make sure a pathetic Political Party known as the ALP is voted in again to coincide with the Democrats in the USA - as usual. Roll Eyes

Liberal Party is ok - except they have a weak leader with no personality or MEDIA savvy sway.
John Howard was great with Gun reform and is become globally popular with this even today.
But Environmentally he was a disaster for this country.

It's no delusion. Both Rudd and Abbott have proposed a work for the dole scheme, and one of them will win.

We already have a work for the dole' scheme, thanks to the maggot, Howard.

Its purpose is purely punitive, there is no training whatsoever, and
there are no positive outcomes at the end.

In short, it simply doesn't work.

Nothing proposed by either party addresses the real issues, just promises to
make life even harder for the unemployed.

And I don't support either party's 'policy' on the unemployed.
