Excellent!  As has happened with previous Labor MPs who have been caught with noses in the trough, they have been swiftly dealt with - and/or expelled from the party, as it should be.

Now, how about the Lib Premiers of Victoria and Queensland do the same for the trough dwellers in their party?

did they pinch millions????and rob poor farmers?

Does it matter?  Is theft not theft?    While people in Qld are being FIRED by the Newman Government, his Minister is spending a bit of time with luvey on the taxpayer teat.  Are you happy with that?

The good thing about Labor at the moment is that they are hell bent on reforming their party and getting rid of scum like these two.     The Liberals seem to endorse this behaviour - at the state level at least

tell us who you are talking about..otherwise we only have your word for it...how do you know all this???..

It's been in the papers!!!!

reform.. do you really think the unions are going to sit back and watch their lifelong hold disappear.. they hate kev the con more than the righties do..

Well, they are it seems - the reforms for the NSW ALP got consensus.  Notice that Rudd once again picked his front bench without ANY union involvement - as he did in 2007?

its all words with krudd.. whatever he does do either ends up broke/in chaos or he backflips..

Right........   That's why he has a popularity % that is so low
  Grin

he wont stop the corruption its far too entrenched..but it sucks people in I guess and that is the real point..

I will give him the benefit of the doubt - if it works it will be good, if it doesnt' well I guess he tried and the Unions will again rule the roost

is THOMO still a member of the ALP?

I have no idea - as his many charges were accrued when he was in the HSU, and not as an MP, and he hasn't at this stage been found guilty in a court of law - therefore presumed innocent at this stage - is there any reason why he shouldn't be?

It's amazing that Mr Rudd is only NOW expressing surprise at Labor corruption.

He was made PM in 2007 because of an agreement between various Labor factions. Figuring significantly in this was the Sussex Street heavies.

It's also amazing that Foreign Minister Carr did not know anything about all this corruption. After all he was the NSW Labor Premier for 10 years.

There is no limits to the corruption of free market capitalism and a deregulated society.  What we need are more regulations and sanctions on business not less and then we will crack down on organized crime....

Free Market capitalism is morally degenerate and weak on law and order, only socialism will deal with organized crime in a timely manner...

BREAKING NEWS: TWO former high-profile Labor MPs, Eddie Obeid and Ian Macdonald, have been found by the NSW ICAC to have acted corruptly and referred for possible criminal charges.
Following the largest corruption investigation in NSW history, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) today handed down three reports.
Commissioner David Ipp has recommended that Mr Obeid and Mr Macdonald be considered by the Department of Public Prosecution (DPP) for possible prosecution over their involvement in the Mount Penny coal mine.
Mr Obeids' son Moses, and businessmen Travers Duncan, John McGuigan, John Atkinson, John Kinghorn and Richard Poole were also found to have engaged in corrupt conduct.
Operation Jasper investigated reports that Mr Macdonald rigged a 2008 tender process to grant a coal licence over land at Mount Penny owned by the Obeid family.
It enabled the Obeids to make $30 million, with the prospect of earning at least $70 million more.

I feel sorry for Joe 'the hammer' Votolio and Jimmy 'the rat' Bicchieri from the Mafia Recruitment Wing. They flew into Australia in the hope of finding some vile filth willing to join the Mafia crime empire. They took one look at our pollies and said even the Mafia wouldn't sink to the low depths that Australian pollies are capable of. They have flown back to the USA with no new recruits.

Agreed, you are incredibly thick.

I am not sure what I find most amusing.
Your utterly appalling attempts to construct sentences or your post as Wise One saying how much of a shame it is Riverina Jack no longer posts.

People as thick as you should be banned from forums.
