Its all speculation, justice is meant to be blind i.e. only consider Objective evidence which for Schapelle is prima facia case which provided no defence to, which is not that important given the type of justice system Indonesia has.

He circumstance here or in most countries would end in the same result, tin foil hat theories that they provided were a joke, the only thing that might vary is the length of sentence which I think in Australia are to lenient.

Was there any objective evidence that they were her brothers ?

Sure my understanding from the various pot smokers I know is that the Indo stuff is shite but for Schapelle  not to know about the drugs is a very hard case to defend..... I would call it impossible.

I don't see the big deal, she will come back here write a book about and retire happy.

If she wrote a book - does it not fail the proceeds from crime law?

I realise that and I fully support the courts decision. As mentioned several times, she got of lightly ...

I was merely giving my (ill informed) opinion based on the information I have seen on the media, about her and her family.

Beheading of an indonesian maid .

Warning;
gruesome.

Yes, ol Indon President SBY and other Indonesians flew into a tantrum of outrage.

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/jan/13/saudi-arabia-treatment-foreign-work...

More than 45 foreign maids are facing execution on death row in Saudi Arabia, the Observer has learned, amid growing international outrage at the treatment of migrant workers.

The startling figure emerged after Saudi Arabia beheaded a 24-year-old Sri Lankan domestic worker, Rizana Nafeek, in the face of appeals for clemency from around the world.

The exact number of maids on death row is almost certainly higher, but Saudi authorities do not publish official figures. Indonesians are believed to account for the majority of those facing a death sentence. Human rights groups say 45 Indonesian women are on death row, and five have exhausted the legal process.

Yes, Indonesia screams in outrage when anyone dares execute an Indonesian, but happily executes the citizens of other nations.
Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran, for example.
They look like being next up to be dragged from their cells to the outdoor death chamber and exterminated.
Indonesia execution-homicided people recently.

In barbaric Singapore it's for sure and certain Schapelle would've been dragged kicking and screaming from her cell to the gallows and exterminated.

Write her a letter bambu seeing as you care so much.
Perhaps the reason why the media has not been reporting is because nothing has changed?
After all, she is a convicted criminal serving out her gaol sentence.
She's a big .00008 on the giveafrackometer scale I'm afraid.

There is no deterrence value in any nations death penalty of it's criminals if it takes decades for that nations justice system to carry out the sentence that was given.
It's time the Indonesians cleaned house and sent a message to those who peddle drugs.

Schapelle Corby will be released when her sentence for drug offenses is concluded.  I hope by the time she is released that Corby has used her time productively to become a better, more decent, caring and moral person...

She's gone mad, tormented beyond tolerable.
Chases imaginary ducks around the cell block ceiling etc.
Still they persecute her.

She's entitled to parole...our govt should make sure she gets it.

she broke other peoples laws....

we have no right to judge other people when we do the complete opposite..

jail for drug running is a joke in this country and every one knows it.

at the moment Sydney is like a mini Chicago in the 30s and its all about drugs.. they thumb their noses at our laws....

so some other country is tough on drugs well done I say..

it isnt as if they DONT WARN ANYONE IS IT?...

she will come home write a book and make a fortune its tough I agree but its their laws and justice who knows it didnt stop the Bali 9 but it may have stopped a lot of others.. we will never know will we..

I feel more sorry for all those families dealing with losing someone to drug ov er doses to be honest....

take a look at the ex swimmer..Scott Miller if you want to see a shining example of what drugs can do.

Maybe someone broke other people's laws for her.

you dont know that... its all guess work..
the way I see it bambu they and our authorities know a bit more than we do..

e have every right to judge Indonesia...it happily takes our money and in return treats us with utter contempt.

we hand them over all this money it suits us bambu...we do not have too...and if we do it expecting things in return we will be disappointed

She can write a book, but all the proceeds will be seized as "proceeds of crime".

David Hicks I believe kept his proceeds so there is another precedent!!!! been set..

Drug users knock on the illegal drug dealers' doors, buy the illegal drugs, consume the illegal drugs willingly...not like they haven't been warned...and some die or get maimed for life., all their own fault 'personal responsibility'.

The drug trade is a sad affair all around.

so that means its not the dealers fault brining it into the country its the users fault.. I see

People execution-shredded/hanged for smuggling...and users dying by their own 'hand'.

Interesting that new style heroin in Indonesia, flys in thru windows and lands on tables in piles.
Indonesian cops were watching the Bali9 fom the time their plane landed...but didn't see even one delivery of all that heroin to their rooms.  Smiley

its called evidence catching them in the act...they try to catch as many as they can..in that case the women that brought it into Bali got away..... to come another day.

bambu I have never been to BAli and have not the slightest intention of going.. but have read there are many many signs up all ov er the place warning people what will happen even death by guns if they break those rules..

its their way of doing things...

we also have our fair share of bent coppers...we are in no position to criticize others because we think their laws are too tough..

dont you think ours are too soft???

Some are, but most are not.

We are in a position to criticise others, ...Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, China, UAE, especially.
We are civilised, disciples of the UN Decalaration of Human Rights, and our police and courts in general are honest.

They did wrong...bad crime...but a long jail sentence, especially in Indonesia, is sufficient for them.

Heroin users and other drug users only have themselves to blame for their ruined lives.
They can put their hands up and go into rehab free.

Ahem, state govt's 'heroin injecting room'...where drug dealers arrive in their luxury cars, deliver the users/addicts the drugs, then depart untouched by the cops [the laws were changed].

Stop pretending you aren't aware the guy from customs has told the media umpteen times that Schapelle was set-up

A drugs drop that went wrong -- for the scum in customs

Sydney Morning Herald ran a story late last year ... revealed that of the 900 customs employees who'd been tabled in internal reports for various crimes, only 3 were charged

MP went on tv a few weeks ago to say things were going to be 'tightened' up at customs

Numerous books and articles have explained, in triplicate and in terms even retards could understand, that Schapelle was an innocent victim

So how far below retard are those of you still chanting the Paid-For mantra about 'she deserves to be there' ?

Paid to Posts have been mumbling the same mantra online for years, trying to rev up the public

Those who pay the Paid to Posts are soulless lumps of shite

who will NEVER EVER enjoy anthing approaching a bearable afterlife

Those who Post for Pay will spend eternity in blackness paying for the sins

So heap shite on Schapelle all you like, during the BRIEF moment of time you're alive

You'll pay later

And when I pass you, I'll kick molten lava in your eyes

Schapelle is an innocent victim of criminals and louts

and of the three wise monkey type 'judges' they have over there in Bali
