True Blue...

We can learn from Indonesia about how drug dealers should be treated.

She will be back and someone will write a book for her and she will be fine ..... and back on the gear.

Maybe sooner.

New parole hope in Indonesia for Schapelle Corby

Schapelle Corby's hopes of being granted parole after more than a decade in a Balinese prison have taken a huge leap forward.
Indonesian judicial officials today visited her in her cell in Kerobokan Prison and also inspected the home of her sister Mercedes.

well lets hope its true this time round.. if its just to make headlines then that just plain cruel..I too think she has done her time I find their laws barbaric to be honest, its a form of torture really.... but then ours are too stupid/weak

Not all of them...most of our laws are fair enough.

Bali parole board says Schapelle Corby should go free

SCHAPELLE Corby's chances of an early release from prison have been given a massive boost with corrections officers in Bali recommending her for parole.

The green light from the Bali corrections board (BAPAS) increases the likelihood that the convicted drug smuggler could soon be released from Kerobokan jail to live with her sister Mercedes in Bali.

Ketut Artha, the head of the Denpasar BAPAS office, has told AAP that the parole recommendation was handed to prison officials on Friday.

"The content is that we agree with suggestion that Corby gets her parole," he told AAP today while attending Indonesian independence day celebrations at Kerobokan jail.

"Our consideration is that Corby has shown good behaviour while in prison, that local society and officials could accept her and the family is ready with guarantee.

#####

If she is released on parole, there must be no dramas...no niteclubs etc.
Just a quiet, private, 'hidden' lifestyle.
All guests to be searched at the front gate of Mercedes familiy home...for possible contraband that could jeopardise Schapelle's parole conditions.
There are some in Indonesia hot happy she's likely getting parole...trickery could be on the cards.

Being locked up in a third world prison (for nothing) will probably do that to you.

If that is all she has to worry about......big deal.  It was several years ago some 'expert' said she would be dead, imminently if she was not released.

It seems the hold up this time is because Abbott's mob could not get some required documents (a guarantee) in order.

I don't think she's had any joints lately.

Hmmm...well who knows? Apparently you can bribe the guards and bring just about anything in to Kerobokan Prison.

Speaking of joints, Schappelle brought enough into Bali to make quite a few...or was the bogey board  just one big joint in disguise?

If she is still alive, then why haven't we heard anything about her from our supposedly loyal media and supposedly loyal politicians?

Because our loyal politicians aren't in the habit of keeping tabs on convicted drug smugglers.
And the media could well be wondering why they are spending time on the daily reporting on the life of a convicted drug smuggler.

To be fair I don't think she was guilty.

The fact she travelled with her half-brother who had previous drug convictions, turned around and left Bali on the next plane when she was arrested and has since been inside a QLD prison for the charge of tying a guy to a chair and beating him with an iron bar over a drugs deal.....

Leads me to believe they may, just may, have belonged to somebody else.

I recently saw a story about two Australians over seas who found drugs in their suitcases once they got to their motel...

they rang the Australian consulate who advised them to "get rid" of the drugs asap and that its possible they are being watched by the drug traffickers wanting to get their drugs back...

this is what they do all of the time... apparently..

so what you'll be thinking already is that "why didn't they go to the authorities in that country" ... right?

because they would have been accused of being drug smugglers themselves and thrown in jail.. so were advised to flush them straight down the toilet and get out of the country...

scary stuff...

im not saying this is what happened to Corby... but basically they threw her in jail because they couldn't find anyone else to blame...

im also sus on the "half brother"... who is being charged with cocaine related charges as we speak..
