Another stupid Policy on the run decision by Kevin Rudd, tying the Carbon Price to Europe is a masterpiece of stupidity, we could be looking at paying double what we are now, which in itself is ludicrous.

Bring on Abbott who will get rid of this iniquitous tax.

Once again Rudd has demonstrated his ability to drop this Country in the deep end of the sh.t.

I just can't believe how politically retarded a lot of Australians are...

the "Carbon Tax" or the ETS has nothing to do with clean living...

ITS JUST A TAX YOU
MORONS

they throw a little at some silly useless windfarms then leach off the rest to buy votes and give themselves pay rises...

you can't spend the way Labor do without massively increasing Taxes... the Carbon tax, the big ausie con, will do just nicely...

and all the silly little minions will swallow it hook line and sinker... Durrrrrrrrr  Shocked

even under Labors own estimates it'll be nearly $40 a Ton by 2020...

so if we don't vote for Liberal this time we're buggered...

No - it is a proven market-based mechanism to reduce pollution.

Using large fonts does not change this simple fact.

Switzerland is set to increase its carbon tax from 36 francs to 60 francs per tonne of CO2 (equivalent to $US36 and $US61) in 2014. The move to almost double its price on carbon pollution was announced by the Swiss government last month, after the country missed its emissions reduction target of 8 per cent below 1990 levels at the end of 2012 by a few percentage points.

So looks like Australia's carbon pollution price will rise steeply in the near future.

Good news.

Looks like Kev may have called it right by scrapping the fixed price period a year earlier than planned.

Well done Kevin.

despite Greens' wank, the EU price is stil in the order of $5

and anyhow, the CT will be repealed next year by the ABBOTT govt.

Like that no confidence vote this term ... still waiting.

Abbott can not repeal it because Greens/labor control the senate.

until july 1 2014...

suck it up!

Rather wait for the senate election result, a couple of weeks after the election thanks.

I thought you greens were 'surgin'?  you don't sound so confident and nor should you with your vote dropping to 6-7%

Your continual bad calls of the situation is on the record. From Abbott being a certainty to win a landslide to a certainty that Melbourne will revert away from the sitting member.

Your claims are baseless and so happy to wait until the election to see the results and then go from there.

I think your predictions that the libs would lose NSW and QLD more than top any minor mistakes in my predictions.

it isn't an ETS at all your dumb moron!  It is the CLEAN AIR ACT, none of which involved a trading system of any kind!  do you have the slightest idea what an ETS IS?????

unbelievable stupidity from you.

Have you looked up what the Clean Air Act is yet, and the Acid Rain Program that came under it?

Or have you just decided to run away and let this outburst of abuse stand as a monument to your ignorance?
