I like reading the histrionics and hyperbole about crap people have little actual control over and in all likelihood hardly effects them at all.

Most people will be too busy counting how many times Kevni flicks his hair, licks his lips and mentions Abbott to care.  I note that Bolt has set up some app so people can use that "worm" to "judge" for themselves.

I won't be watching it. The less I see and hear from Krudd, the better.

Aww too scared you might change your mind if you hear opposing views?

SOB

Thinks if he doesn't hear them, they don't exist.

Nope.  I will be voting Liberal, regardless of how Tony Abbott goes at a Debate.

Will watching the Debate make YOU change YOUR mind about voting ALP? Cheesy Tongue

Well, I hadn't been planning to vote for them either, but I don't know.

It may, or not. I'll at least hear what they have to say first.

Ruddites will say Rudd won. Abbott supporters will say their bloke was the victor.

And Merlin may return from whatever planet he is on.

I would have thought being able to argue your case effectively would be essential for any leader.

Interesting that the channel nine worm had Gillard the winner of that debate longy. So did the Sydney morning herald, abc and another major newspaper.

The only source I found that had Abbott win that debate wasthe liberal party website.

I dont think Abbott had the win of that debate in 2010 like you claim longy

Swinging voters determine elections. I think connecting with the voters is important longy because if you don't, and they vote for the other guy then there is little point being a great leader in opposition for another three years

Other than the "Uncle Sam I want you" look - Abbott looks good

Rudd's blue pudgy pasty white skin is sickening

I must admit I was worried for Abbott - but so far so good

The 'worm' is of interest. Even before either one has said jack poo it goes from 'like' to 'dislike,' 'dislike' if Rudd is about to speak, and 'like,' if Abbott is about to speak. Watch for yourself.

Cheesy

a formal debate is not the same thing at all.  leaders can argue a case without charisma, public speaking skills and witty repartee.  public debates like tis are showmanship rather than substance.  The right answer, presented poorly loses while the silver-tongued orator wins based on skill of presentation.  Have you never been in a debate where it was your job to demolish an argument you 100% support?  Have you never seen a debate where the winner was someone defending a lie?

public debates are interesting but they rarely elicit much  truly valuable leadership information.

Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!  As soon as Abbott stops, the worm plummets, even before Rudd has spoken a word.

Poor old manipulated worm.  Anyone else like me get asked by the local LNP and the PUP to play with the worm?

I reckon half the trouble with the Right is that they spend altogether too much time playing with their 'worms'...
