If I tell you I am giving you 100, for which you make your plans, and then I only give you $10, I have taken $90 out of your budget. What part of that is difficult for the morons on here?

Except that isn't the argument is it?

The argument is that you currently get $33 and you WANT $43.  I then give you $42.  no matter how you describe that it is an INCREASE in funding and s substantial one.

and you still haven't addressed that lie about Abbott since he wasn't even involved in the discussion or decision!

Did you even bother to read the OP?

'The increase was around $1 billion less than foreshadowed a year earlier'

that is, in effect, exactly what they had said. Back in your box you idiot.

and increase of $9B is NEVER going to be a decrease of $1B ergo a lie.  Blaming Abbott for this is also a lie since he wasn't even health minister at the time.  Another Lie

did you take your stupid pills today? If I tell you I am going to give you, next year, $100 000 on this date, and you allow for this money, then on the day I give you $50 000 ... I've just ripped $50 000 out of your budget ... don't try to pretend I didn't just because the money wasn't in your pocket to start with.

Do you spend money before you get it?  (don't even think of answering no) What does it do to your budget if your don't get the money you were supposed too?

and there is that basic English comprehension problem again where you equate 'lower INCREASE' with 'decrease'.

it is hard to debate with a person whose understanding of the English language is so poor.
