Then why is it completely personal BS trying to smear him instead of talking about policy etc?

Because many people look at Rudd and see some very serious, very debilitating signs of mental illness which should disqualify him from the job.

So the sources of these revalations are two unnamed people plus:

Alexander Downer, a political opponent

Alan Jones, a obscene, bigoted Labor hater

Penberthy, once editor of the trashiest tabloid in the land.

Hardly unbiased group, are they?

While rejecting the opinions of alan Jones on pretty much everything is more than fair, rejecting the other two is not.  And when you line them up with the opinions of virtually the entire Labor Caucus and anyone else who has had the misfortune to work for him it is almost proof positive.

Rudd is a seriously dysfunctional person with some substantial mental health issues of which megalomania is just one.  The response from him after he is thrashed at the next election will be revealing just as it was when Keating  - also a massive egotist - lost and spent the week in bed refusing to leave the Lodge.

better than some ALP sources who hang around CHILDREN'S toilets!

and if you can read you will see that Alan Jones is a source that is rejected by pretty much everyone.  In this particular case, Jones I just another voice added tot eh dozens of others about Rudds behaviour and personality.

I dont see dozens of voices in that article, are you seeing things? Despite which as a self proclaimed expert psychologist you should be aware that there is consdierable debate as to whether Aspergers is an actual verifiable condition.

HIS name has appeared as "authorised by" on the current batch of Liberal campaign television commercials

( ... I've ALWAYS been curious, as to the identity of these "authorised by" people)

The ONLY hint of credibility - in the Telegraph piece - was the bit on
GreenTieGate

Quote:
"We had him on Meet The Press earlier this year," says Ten Network political editor Paul Bongiorno, who has always found Rudd friendly, if distracted. "The arrangement is always: please be in the studio by a quarter to eight, and please don't wear a green tie.

"So he shows up at 30 seconds to eight wearing a green tie, so we didn't have time to make him up and we had to rush a tie in.

i

Footnote

The author of the "piece" is the daughter of the late, esteemed Canberra political correspondent - Peter Harvey - who would NEVER have put his name to such a trashy excuse for "journalism"

Further ...
I have a nephew with Asperger's syndrome
The OP is a total ignoramus
- knowing NOTHING of the condition

Have to have a chuckle at all the hard line last ditch effort lefties, trying to defend then indefensible a.k.a. Kevin Bloody Rudd.

Go your hardest guys and gals, huff and puff for all your worth.

The opinion polls say it all, the public have got little Kevvy figured out for what he is, the snot of the playground and God help you if you cross him because he will take his bat and ball home with him.

If Rudd has Aspergers, then he must be some kind of savant. He was dux of his school, is fluent in Mandarin, graduated from university with first class honours in Asian Studies, defeated the second longest government in Australia's history, and has been PM of this country twice.

I would tend to think of him more as some kind of genius.

And their qualifications are...???

Non-existent?

Hmmm, thought so.

And everything he's done or said would be lauded from the roof-tops if Rudd
had been a Lib, or if their leader had said/done the same...

Righties, thy name is hypocrite...
