Rudd starts to cut, cut, cut.

Health has more than 2000 executives at levels 1 and 2 and more than 150 senior executives, according to its most recent annual report, and more than 3500 of the department's workforce are based in the national capital.

Ms Halton said that the government's recent decision, to raise its efficiency dividend from 1.25 per cent to 2.25 per cent, meant the department had to start shedding staff.

Mr Rudd is a brute. He is supposed to be the workers' friend. Maybe the Federal Department of Health and Ageing could start assembling motor vehicles and then the workers' jobs would be subsidised and protected.

Shame on you Mr Rudd.

Good, We need to Cut, we are currently running a deficit and our government is over sized, and yes even though its small deficit, its important not to let it run away like it has been allowed to do around the world.

plus maybe Rudd should of done what Abbott is wanting to do and allow natural attrition before cutting.

Reply #6 - Aug 22^nd, 2013 at 5:15pm I heard Dudd no longer uses razors to shave, the fear of cutting his own throat has taken its toll. Having said that, an electric shaver would be horrific to cut your throat but a delight to Dudd do it. Cut Cut Cut away Dudd. Cant wait for Dudds tears to roll again!
