I am so sickened by what is happening in the middle east and by what I see the UN doing... as usual bugger all...

its civil war. ... its like watching a storm brewing and then waiting until its full force hits you before you make a move.. its bizarre and pathetic..we have watched Israel and Palestine for years and years...but at least someone usual AMerica has stepped in and tried their best....but with Syria all I have seen is a lot of praying..... and it doesnt work.. now of course its getting really nasty really bad...how do you stop a tidalwave?...

I dont think we can now.

The question is, should we punish Syrians that get here by boat, desiring protection from persecution.

Yes or No?

if you look back through history most modern countries have had their own civil wars or fought in them...

sometimes that's just what has to happen for them to move forward...

what about all the tyrants in South Africa starving their own people to death and pocketing all of the foreign aid?

the only countries the US take action in are the ones with OIL...

coincidence?

what is happening now is nothing compared to even 50 years ago... now its GAS WMD.. which most claim dont exist...

yes we know about the tyrants and their deeds..again whatever has the UN done about it.?? we pay mega bucks for this useless bunch of parasites... they go on and on about the UN convention for refugees... and then we see this and not a word.. its a human disgrace....

I want to throw bricks at the UN Building.. its no more than the temples were 2000 years ago.... a bloody disgrace.

we should do more to stop the carnage.........more should be done to stop the slaughter.. sitting back taking in refugees is not the way to go........

waiting until they are gassing each other is appalling...

Tell you what Greens win, why don't we throw open the borders and import all the refugees in the world, maybe about a billion, would that be enough for you?

Then we can pack our  bags and go to New Zealand on the street cred of our Anzus Alliance.

Then the Muslim flag can fly over Mustralia forever.

Real Syrian refugees do not have the means to come here by boat, only fake refugees backed up with wads of cash sourced from who knows where are able to fly and sail through twenty safe havens before reaching our shores.

There are currently about 42.5 million displaced people in the world.

Hyperbole from red?  Never!
