GDP Growth Higher Than Expected
Sep 4th, 2013 at 1:40pm

Rudd -  the genius who saved us from the Global Financial Crisis - has managed to continue Australia's great economic performance with a higher than expected quarter of GDP growth.

Quote:
Today's national accounts show gross domestic product grew by 0.6 per cent in the March quarter, slightly higher than the 0.5 per cent most economists had predicted.

Mr Rudd has again pointed to international comparisons to show the Australian economy has been strong under Labor's stewardship.

"As of this year, since we came to office in 2007, the Australian economy is 15 per cent bigger than it was," he said.

"I draw to your attention the fact that the British economy has shrunk 3 per cent over that time.

I draw your attention to the fact that Australia is in massive debt and your wonderful leader is still continuing to borrowing millions every day, sooner or later the debt collector will be knocking on all our doors.

Actually, Australia's debt-to-GDP ratio is one of the smallest in the OECD countries.

Rudd is a genius.

Maybe someone should tell the business community.

Business confidence is at its lowest point in 12 months.
Unemployment is rising.
Debt is $330,000,000,000 higher than when the Government came in.

Smoke 'em if you got 'em.....

You could ask Ford Motor Company?

The ones that pulled all their manufacturing from Australia.

General Motors will be gone by 2016 too.

I draw YOUR attention to the FACT that it is nothing of the kind.

Don't argue support for the Coalition based on the economy, as you haven't a leg to stand on.

some people don't understand the concept of actually "earning" their own money ...

if they did then they wouldn't applaud a dud government that has thrown away hundreds of billions of tax payers dollars and then ask for an extra $2500 PA in their welfare payments...

oh but of course.. money grows on ****king trees... Angry
