According to ALP sources Shorten is the most likely,

Shorten is a dumb f... and for that reason he might be a good choice for first term as he will be unlikely to win and the dumbo would be easy to remove.

He lost any chance after that stupid interview he gave.

Credibility can take years to build up but can be destroyed in 20 minutes or less.
