The entire insurance industry, was built on the saying, SH!T HAPPENS"!

Perhaps, Sophie could consider a career change, TO THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY?

Maybe next election we will see a decent local Coalition candidate.

This woman is a disgrace, pure and simple.

It's a blow for Abbott, Sophia was a lynchpin of Abbott's compassionate section of the team.

The Nationals supported the independent candidate over Sophie Mirabella.
A decent chunk of her fellow Liberal MPs would be happy to see the end of her.

She isn't a good look for the party.

Quote:
THE electoral plight of noted parliamentary pugilist Sophie Mirabella is promoting ghoulish intrigue among her political colleagues.

For her sworn opponents in the Labor Party with whom she has grappled so vigorously during her 12 years in parliament, the notion of Mrs Mirabella fighting for her political life draws undisguised pleasure.

From the National Party that directed its preferences to her independent opponent Cathy McGowan, there came thinly-veiled satisfaction.

And even from Liberal Party colleagues who didn't need her to secure their victory, it prompted treasonous mutterings.

Sophie Mirabella from the Libs and Don Farrell from Labor are both nasty pieces of work and Im glad to see both of them get the boot.
I doubt that either of them will ever do an honest days work and sadly their parties will look after them with some cushy highly paid positions.

I was gonna say she can go suck a fat one but she would only do it if there was a couple of mil and an inheritance in it for her

I don't think anyone really cares about that as long as Mirabella is defeated. She's currently 1,754 behind on the two-candidate count according to the AEC.

This is someone that wouldn't lift a finger to help when someone loses consciousness while sitting next to her on live television. Make no mistake, she is not a nice person.

Grooming an old man so she could rip off his families inheritance was the lowest of the low.

"grooming" - new speak for "seducing", cause it sounds more sinister. Like "IED" instead of "homemade bomb".

But yeah.... Sophie Mirabella - one nasty piece of work.

shes also on record as applauding Abbott during the campaign

Anyhow, with a 30+ seat majority, Abbott doesn't need her vote.

None of this matters. Mirabella's gone. Good riddance to Liberal party deadwood.
