Because Mugabe is not right wing.

Like most black African despots, Mugabe follows a brand of Marxist Leninist theory.

In fact Marxism and Socialism is responsible in large part for Africa being the utter basket case that it is.

There is something wrong with that diagram. What is Barack Obama doing on the right and Robert Mugabe on the left? I also can't believe Obama is in the same quadrant as Hu Jintao. Sad Angry

Correct!

It's utterly ridiculous for them to put UK prime minister David Cameron and Germany's Angela Merkel up there in the Hard Right Conservative quadrant.

These two preside over immigration programs that continue to import tens of thousands of Muslims each year into their country.

That sort of self-destructive lunacy belongs in the Far Left panels.

And what the hell is the Dalai Lama and Mandela doing being slotted in as Leftwing libertarians? Crazy stuff!

The Dalai Lama is a born-to-rule elite by ancient tradition, and Mandela was an active terrorist who organised bombings.

And then they've put Julia Gillard up there with the fascists!  Grin Too silly to comment upon.

I'm deleting this thread as a fraudulent farce.

When freediver returns from the Fish Market he will be assisting me in finding the button to wipe out this unfortunate thread.  Cool

1) There are certainly problems/issues with this sort of slotting into various categories, depending on subjective questions & subjective answers!

2) That said, you did raise it & you did seem to be having fun, until some issues arose, which may not have fitted into your thinking?

3) A suggestion - WE SHOULD BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT WE ASK FOR, BECAUSE WE JUST MAY GET IT & THEN DISCOVER IT WASN'T QUITE WHAT WE WERE THINKING!

Finally, this thread shouldn't be deleted, just because you disagree with some of its outcomes, as that would mean all the other members who contributed, had simply wasted their time and time is not a commodity that any of us should waste, as their isn't enough of it, to simply throw away.
Btw, if threads were deleted simply because someone didn't like the outcome/s, then very few threads would survive, for very long!

Cameron is probably the least Conservative leader of the Conservative party in decades.

Hence why they struggle to win my support these days.

I was being ironic (tongue-in-cheek).

I must try to be a little more obvious in future.

You'll notice that John took me seriously too.

Cameron looks like a racecourse bookie ... one of the less honest ones.

We need academics with monumental IQs being given the job of national leadership.

What we've seen so far is a conga-line of suckhole mediocrities who are more suited to running a Supermarket than a nation.

Professor Enoch Powell was the last of the intelligentsia to grace the seats of parliament in the UK.

Being Italian you probably notice a lot of plaster-of-Paris figurines of the Virgin Mary crying too, don't you?  Grin Grin

Nope. Nazism is not communism. Communism is on the left. Nazism is on the right.

The big surprise to me is that you're not a libertarian. Most people in the West are libertarians. I just wonder how you ended up with such "authoritarian" views. It is right that you belong in the same hemisphere as Hu Jintao.

Mugabe is a nationalist, so he can't be left-wing. He has a racist attitude toward white people. He is not in favour of human racial equality. That makes him a "Nazi" and puts him on the right.

He even said once that he was "Hitler tenfold."

Source: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/zimbabwe/1425727/...

Quote:
President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe has compared himself to Adolf Hitler.

At the state funeral of one of his cabinet ministers, Mr Mugabe said: "I am still the Hitler of the time. This Hitler has only one objective, justice for his own people, sovereignty for his people, recognition of the independence of his people, and their right to their resources.

"If that is Hitler, then let me be a Hitler tenfold. Ten times, that is what we stand for."

I think the Stalinist regime was really a form of Nazism in disguise. Cheesy

Their levels of authoritarianism could be compared. Economically they were very different. Hitler allowed - even supported - free enterprise. He didn't Nationalise any business. Competition was encouraged. Even benefits for the people were allocated using a different principle in that you had to be seen to be productive before you got anything back - not the state supported you in return for work model the Soviets used.

This is not a social idea, its an economic reality.

To maintain our consumerist society we need to consume, there is only so much stuff a person can have/afford.

They bring in the immigrants not out of the goodness of their heart but to prop up the economy.

Even if or even better they stay on social service money, as we know the poorer you are the more of your money goes back into the everyday economy.
