Goodbye surplus
Sep 14th, 2013 at 4:49pm

Here goes the surplus.

Spend, spend, spend, it's all they ever do.

Let's borrow some more money, says Joe, the economy needs stimulating.

Egg on your faces right tards?

Hockey’s plan for budget stimulus

The incoming Abbott government is preparing an about-face on the economy, looking to quickly boost infrastructure spending to stave off a post-mining boom slowdown that is set to push up unemployment.

Well Pansi, no-one can ever accuse you of not doing your best to keep corrupt government in power via your self-admitted casting of multiple and illegal votes for Labor over several polling booths

Abbott was always full of sh..it,  all his crap is now becoming evident to the morons that believed him.

The surpluses's  were forgotten as the campaign went on, despite slagging Labor about how the Libs would deliver surpluses.

So it was a bad thing for Wayne Swan to go down the stimulus road, but a good thing for Joe Hockey?

Is Liberal debt good debt?

What happened to the economic conservatives?

Spend, spend, spend like a drunken sailor Joe.

I forgot to say

this is sooooooo funny

let the fun begin!

I bet Swanny's even having a laugh.

Wayne Swan@twitter

Wayne Swan ‏@SwannyQLD 13 Sep

Most audacious @JoeHockey hypocrisy to date in @latingle story today - now wants stimulus and to spend more.

Wayne Swan ‏@SwannyQLD 13 Sep

Truly remarkable backflip from Mr Budget Emergency before the election

Stop speaking nonsensical crap numberplate, I said I didn't vote for Labor or any of the other major parties. I only voted below the line and Labor was a long way from number one.

The things we say when we are in opposition lol!!!!

September 2

Stop the stimulus spend - Hockey

The latest national accounts strengthen the argument for the federal government to pull back on its stimulus spending, the opposition says.

He said the figures were also a "warning bell" for Prime Minister Kevin Rudd to stop the heavy spending.

"But now Mr Rudd has to pull back on the spending ... because it will be political spending, not economic spending."

Mr Hockey said unless the government pulls back on its spending it would subject Australians to higher taxes and interest rate rises.

Don't worry about my vote, you should be more worried about the type of person you voted for. They did promise a surplus, didn't they? It will be hard to get with the big borrowing, won't it? How will they pay it back,

Have you got no response  to Joe Hockey and his reckless spending?

What do you feel about being betrayed by your own government?

Come on righties, enough with the personal jibes, what about big spender Joe, whittling away the surplus?

There was never going to be a surplus because the Libs knew we have needed stimulus packages ever since the GFC hit..this is just another Abbott lie exposed.

One thing people are forgetting about this economic stimulus issue, is they try to follow Keynesian economics. Yet the problem is Keynes recommended, the only negative gearing that would work is to; run up a surplus in the first place, save the surplus, then spend the surplus in debt spending during an economic downturn.

These clowns (including the last clowns and the ones in the US) think they can negatively gear themselves out of debt, rather then the preemptive approach the father of their economics recommends. You have to have the surplus first, in order to properly debt spend on a down turn.
