There was never going to be a surplus because the Libs knew we have needed stimulus packages ever since the GFC hit..this is just another Abbott lie exposed.

You need to realise that a stimulus package isn't your boyfriend rogering you up the arse.

One thing people are forgetting about this economic stimulus issue, is they try to follow Keynesian economics. Yet the problem is Keynes recommended, the only negative gearing that would work is to; run up a surplus in the first place, save the surplus, then spend the surplus in debt spending during an economic downturn.

These clowns (including the last clowns and the ones in the US) think they can negatively gear themselves out of debt, rather then the preemptive approach the father of their economics recommends. You have to have the surplus first, in order to properly debt spend on a down turn.

Thanks to Keating's economic reforms we had an economy that could deliver surplus after surplus in good economic times. Shame these surpluses were largely squandered and what surplus Costello was able to cobble together was largely dependant on asset sales and running down infrastructure.

Well Pansi, no-one can ever accuse you of not doing your best to keep corrupt government in power via your self-admitted casting of multiple and illegal votes for Labor over several polling booths

The rest of your post is the usual nonsensical crap for which you're known

Stop speaking nonsensical crap numberplate, I said I didn't vote for Labor or any of the other major parties. I only voted below the line and Labor was a long way from number one.

http://www.nomad4ever.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/11/egg_on_the_face.jpg

And how many votes did you give to this number 1?

Don't worry about my vote, you should be more worried about the type of person you voted for. They did promise a surplus, didn't they? It will be hard to get with the big borrowing, won't it? How will they pay it back,

Have you got no response  to Joe Hockey and his reckless spending?

What do you feel about being betrayed by your own government?

Come on righties, enough with the personal jibes, what about big spender Joe, whittling away the surplus?

Stop speaking nonsensical crap pansi, I said I didn't vote for liberal or any of the other major parties.

...

And the party I did vote for only got one vote from myself. So yes, if you did vote more than once then I will make an issue of it.

Who cares about your issues longy.

This thread is about Liberal and their wasteful ways. Fancy getting us into more debt....economic cot cases, they are.

Six years of berating Swanny for his stimulus spending and Hockey's government haven't even been sworn in and he's on a borrowing and spending spree.

Watch out China, big Joe's on the prowl for more money.

Is the big issue too painful or too far over your head for you to comprehend?

And yet a smaller swing than the one against John Howard after his first term would see Abbott booted out.

I notice not one of the righties on here has commented on the proposed stimulus spending, instead concentrating their efforts on attacking the messenger or trying to divert attention by reciting the election result

DO YOU MORONS THINK THAT IN GIVEN THE SUPPOSEDLY TERRIBLE DEBT LEVELS IN AUSTRALIA AND EXCESSIVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING, A STIMULIS PACKAGE BY HOCKEY IS THE BEST WAY TO GO RIGHT NOW?

Stimulus spending is fine when it's done by people that know what they're doing not space cadets like comrade Wayne Swan.
