Denial Depot

Quote:
We are not afraid to be called climate "deniers". In fact we embrace it as medal of honor bestowed on us by our alarmist foes. Galileo was a Denier. It is not an insult. I call this blog "Denier Depot" for that reason.

Welcome to my climate science blog.

I believe that one day all science will be done on blogs because we bloggers are natural skeptics, disbelieving the mainstream and accepting the possibility of any alternative idea.

We stand unimpressed by "textbooks", "peer review journals" and so-called "facts". There are no facts, just dissenting opinion. We are infinitely small compared to nature and can't grasp anything as certain as a fact.

What do you think of that nonsense, Ajax?

Just like I keep away from garbage that supports my cause.

You too should keep away from garbage that supports your cause even if it maybe gift wrapped a little better.

Namely AGW religious blogs that are so one sided they are bordering Nazism......!!!

After all it is these extreme socialist pigs that want to distribute the wealth of the industrialised nations to the third world.

Through CARBON PRICING.

example.......skeptical science blog.

Even the title is deceptive they are anything but sceptical.

This is Al Gore's church.... spread lies and fear.....!!!!!

Well that's what they say on Denial Depot too! They agree with you.

The alarmists have reached a new record low. One of them sent me a video outrageously comparing Blog Scientists to Nazi's - and not just any Nazis either, but high ranking Nazis. It seems the eco-fascists in desperation are having to resort to add homs.

Answer me this...do you agree with Maurice Strong that the only way to save the planet is to destroy industrialized nations.....???

Do you agree with the UN environmental movement to distribute the wealth from first world countries to third world countries.......??????

Quote:
In November 2010, German economist and IPCC official Ottmar Edenhofer stated about climate policy........

"But one must say clearly that we redistribute de facto the world's wealth by climate policy. Obviously, the owners of coal and oil will not be enthusiastic about this.

One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole."

Quote:
"International carbon markets will cover billions of consumers this decade. Ask the bankers at your table whether they want Australia to clip that ticket. We’re going to help them get their share." Julia Gillard

Quote:
"Isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsiblity to bring that about?"

- Maurice Strong, founder of the UN Environment Programme

Quote:
"If we don't change, our species will not survive... Frankly, we may get to the point where the only way of saving the world will be for industrial civilization to collapse."

-Maurice Strong quoted in the September 1, 1997 edition of National Review magazine.

Quote:
"A carbon tax does not guarantee emissions reductions"
Former Labor Climate Change Minister Penny Wong

Quote:
"The introduction of a carbon price ahead of effective international action can lead to perverse incentives for such industries to relocate or source production offshore.

There is no point in imposing a carbon price domestically which results in emissions and production transferring internationally for no environmental gain."

Australian Climate Change Minister Penny Wong 6 feb 2008

Quote:
Penny Wong says Australia's economy can still grow, despite a report showing the economy would take a big hit under the carbon tax.

The report, commissioned by the Minerals Council of Australia, warns keeping the $23 fixed price regime will have almost twice the impact on economic growth by 2018, compared with a system based on international pricing.

Senator Wong said she stood by the Treasury's modelling which determined the initial fixed price.

'We can grow our economy, we can grow jobs, we can grow our incomes and have a carbon price,' she told ABC Radio on Tuesday.

'A carbon price will be the signal to investors to invest in the clean energy economy that provides jobs tomorrow.'

The $23 per tonne initial fixed price was still the right price, despite European carbon prices falling from around $17 a tonne to under $10 recently.

'You would anticipate that the European carbon price will respond to the current financial position in Europe,' Senator Wong said.

'But let's remember we're going through a period, first, of a fixed price and then there is a floating price.

'We think this is the right architecture for the times.'

I don't believe that we should be destroying wealth. We need economic strength in order to be able to combat climate change. I'm not aware of that statement.

Again, my involvement is with atmospheric science, but I am firmly opposed to any wealth distribution.

We should be focusing on replacing fossil fuel use with renewable alternatives. That can be done without going broke and without redistributing wealth.

Giving money to certain poor countries will achieve nothing.  Equatorial Guinea is an example of what would happen. It's may bey the richest country in Sub Saharan Africa, but its people are still living in squalor.

The problem in Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria is government corruption.

Look, I don't mind whatever economic arguments you may have. Atmospheric science itself is sound, and I will defend it against nonsense.

You are being conned.
