You won’t say it, will you?

The answer is that there is more democracy in Iraq and other Muslim societies when there is less Islam.

But the Islamists use the democratic process to eliminate democracy - see Iraq and also Egypt, Labia, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Somalia, etc, etc.

The West has collectively fallen for the nonsense that Islam is a religion of peace and that Muslims want what secular liberal Westerners do.

It is time to isolate Muslim countries and let them fight their religious, sectarian wars to exhaustion.  Sell them all the weapons and let them have their fill of sectarian violence - that's what they want and that;s what they will have, no matter what anyone says or does.

They need to kill each other until their realise that it's not worth killing each other. TELLING them not to do it doesn't work. They must learn from their own experiences.

I don't agree with all of that....but..............you have finally got around to being part of my position, even though you are way too verbose about saying what is so simple.

Arabia is for Arabs (and Jews at the moment) and we ought get out, and let them have at it as they have been for centuries.  We can sell our weaponry to every side and make a huge profit.

Good point Aussie. They will soon be rid of the last of the Christians, and have the Jews confined to Israel. I'm sure if it turns to poo it won't affect the rest of the world in any way.

If we (that means the USA as well) got out and let them (in Arabia) sort it out, I doubt Israel will survive if we make our weapons available to them all, and not just one (or any of their various) side/s.  I have offered them Tasmamia and added Norfolk Island, which also needs a financial inject.  None of Hick's barbarians anywhere near them.  All is good.

Don’t answer for him, old boy. Besides, you’ve already agreed the US delivered no democracy to Iraq at all. As we both know, the idea is ludicrous.

No, the last one holding up this belief is good old FD.

How did they do it, FD?

No, PB.

They DID give them a shot at democracy, they DID give them the chance. But you can't FORCE people, especially Muslim Arabs, to be sensible and to take the chance they are given. And so they threw the chance away as soon as it was given to them and as soon as it was THEIRS to throw it away. Democratically.

And so they did.

Oh?  Show me and everyone where I ever said I supported the rights of Nazis to gas Jews.  I take great personal offence at that freediver, when the truth is ~ my position which you keep ignoring with your usual garbage:

Quote:
If I am going to impose my belief on any State, I cannot effectively do so without breaching its soveregnty.

I can hold my breath, go blue in the face, make railing speeches at the UN, even get a UN resolution (what chance is there of that if say, China is the relevant State) to send in the troops if that State does not bow to my will, (i.e.......I have to impose it) but....to act physically, i.e. militarily to do so is a breach of the State's sovereignty.

This is page 90.  Two pages back will page 88.  Stand by.

And, this is what is posted on that page:

Sure, why not?  But, if it has been made Law in Germany (what chance is there of that freediver?) I have no right to interfere without ripping up the notion of Sovereignty.

Oh look, FD's asking another question.

Is this what you mean by spineless apologetics, FD?

I reckon that freediver's complete disregard and disrespect for what anyone says here will be his eventual downfall.  But, what would I know?  He can always call Tel Aviv HQ for my cold blooded slaughter.  We are all just a phone call away from obliteration.

"We are all friends here, no?"

Weird!

It’s FD’s question, but feel free to give him the answer.

By overthrowing the dictator, setting up political institutions ahead of democratic elections, overseeing democratic elections, supporting the democratically elected government.

After that, the Iraqis farked it up, good and proper. And so now they are bleeding, once more.

Time to isolate the Muslim Middle East. How about a Boycott, Divest and Sanction regime against all Muslim countries that have had Western assistance and farked it up? I am all for it. Include the Saudis, the Gypos, the Iraqis, Pakis, Afghans, the lot.

Ban them all from entering the West until they sort themselves out. Boycott and sanction anyone who does business with them. Let China decide whether it needs the Muslim Arabs or the West.i

None of this means anything to YOUR stupid, blinkered, fuddy-duddy old 60s dogma, PB.  You are stuck back there, old guy, hopelessly. A musty  old reactionary, promiscuous Paki Keynesian (ahem) who has not looked up or had a new idea since 1968.  You repeat the 60s verities endlessly - or else stand baffled, as above.
