Ah, so the Pope is not a "genuine Christian", Moses?

My, how interesting...

The doctrine of Christ is the sole adjudicator as to who / what constitutes a Christian.

If people disagree and step outside His guidelines, then as stated in Matthew 7:21 7:22 7:23 they are not recognized by Him.

The same goes for the pope if he has falsely preached as the doctrine, commandments of man (which deviate from Christs teachings), then as Mathew 15:9 and Mark 7:7 state he will not be accepted.

Leaders of churches have made some evil **commandments of man** in the past, the inquisition and burning of people at the stake springs immediately to mind.

There is nothing that I can find in the Words of Christ, which in any way shape or form, would accept these commands and deeds as righteous.

So it seems (despite your disingenuous attempts) we are back where we started: Genuine islamic tenets urge cause and motivate human rights atrocities of the foulest kind.

Genuine Christian doctrine does not cause or motivate human rights atrocities.

When Brian discusses religions like Islam and Christianity, he likes to completely avoid discussing the words and deeds of Muhammed and Jesus.

Just watching the Drum on the ABC....the SJWs are outraged that the PM called this attack an attack on everyone, and did not single out gays for special victim status. Needless to say his office has since issued a clarification highlighting the special victim status of gays.  Roll Eyes

Muslims have been slaughtering Christians in the Middle East and Africa for a hell of a long time.

Yet the words hate crime only come out when the victims are homosexuals?

And they had every right to.  WTF were Christians doing there in the Land of Arabs in the first place.

We keep making the same mistake, over and over.

Perhaps because I like to discuss the religion which is far more than just the words and deeds of Christ and Muhammed, FD.   You know, the 2,000+ years for Christianity and the 1.400+ years for Islam.   Roll Eyes

If a Christian eats corn flakes for breakfast, do cornflakes become part of Christianity?

What don't you understand about "John Harvey Kellogg. creator of Corn Flakes was a committed Christian," FD?    Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Corn Flakes were created by a Christian to further his Christian ideals and beliefs.   They are not a part of the official beliefs in Christianity but they were designed to bolster it, in the view of John Harvey Kellogg.

Tell me, FD, does Vegetarianism bolster the belief in Hinduism?   Roll Eyes

Leftists and the Ayatollahs have a lot in common when it comes to criticism of Islam, they don't tolerate it.
