That guy in Orlando was hanging out with the gays at The Pulse.

He went there at least a dozen times.

And then a respected Muslim told him gays must die.

Christians and Muslims had been telling him for years that gays must die.

I followed the dots right from day one.

He was gay (or had been involved in gay sex acts).

Christianity, Islam, and right wing extremists had been telling him all his life that "gay is bad".

In order to convince his family & friends that he wasn't gay, he killed as many of them as he could.

He was a confused, conflicted, mentally unstable, violent, closeted homosexual, brainwashed by religion and right wing nut-jobs, who eventually couldn't live with himself any more.

The ultimate blame lies directly with him, however, religion (Islam and Christianity) and general homophobic attitudes contributed to his eventual breakdown.

It appalled most Indonesian Muslims as much as Indonesian Hindus and Animists and Christians. Of course, that would escape you in your readiness to condemn everything Islamic and Muslim.

Oh, no, Islam where it deserves to be condemned, gets condemned, just as do Muslims who deserve to be punished. Never let it be said that I'll stand in the way of a good punishing. However, it has to be deserved. You lot continually mistake "Islam" for anything that Muslims might do, no matter how much it is against the teachings of Islam. Roll Eyes

What is the 'mainstream' Muslim teaching on homosexuality and women? How is the 'mainsteam' Muslim doctrine different from the Koranic and hadith rules?

Many mentally disturbed lefties in general see radical islam as an ally to cover up its evils and stepping over themselves in not offending them in any way than rather than see them as an enemy who don't like the western part of the world in general.

How are they different in their beliefs from what Christianity claims it believes about homosexuality?

Australia Islamic leaders normally don't condemn Homosexuality any more than Christian leaders do, despite both agreeing they deserve death. Muslims, like most Christians, by and large, abide by the law, which affords to Gay people it's protection.

Perhaps instead of condemning people because of what their good books say, you should instead consider what they do. Or is that too hard for someone as prejudiced as you? Roll Eyes
