Badbreath should read Crusade by Rick Atkison or the autobiography of Stormin Norman and he might get a clue on the degrees to which the US and Coalition forces went to accommodate Muslim sensibilities and how Muslim countries were included in the coalition to oust Saddam.

He might learn that it was not a war of religious domination despite his idiot attempts to link it to the Crusades, the fallback of every card carrying lefty numpty.

But that would mean a bit of learning and less spouting of ignorant slogans.

Unlike you, I actually went looking for the direct apology for the Crusades which that pope supposedly uttered and the only one which I could find which specifically named the Crusades was an apology for the Sack of Constantinople. That Pope did utter a general apology for the wrongdoings of Christians in the past but not specifically for the Crusades as such.

Perhaps you need to look deeper rather than just merely accepting what Left-Wing newspapers tell you? Cheesy
