Another part-sentence quote is not surprising, from someone that is such a coward and so afraid of truth, while doing everything in his power to perpetrate lies, that he is afraid to even include the complete sentence that he quotes from my post in his own signature, so folks can see what I wrote and judge for themselves.

Like i said, there is literally nothing except for, "just kidding" that could justify that sentence.

Yes, you did indeed express your opinion previously, but you are only further confirming your cowardice by not including the whole sentence.
If you actually believed your shallow knee-jerk opinion had any value, you wouldn't feel threatened by including the whole sentence, so others that actually have a capacity to think critically could form their own opinion. That is why you are so afraid of including it. Besides your natural compulsion toward the half-truths of dissimulation for the father of lies.

You support the slaughter of infants and are STILL trying to justify it.

But that's OK, because God said so.

Comparing it to your opinions that the slaughter of innocent babies can be justified and excused, i'll stick with mine.

Seriously, I would have thought you would have given up trying to support infanticide, but there is just no reasoning with some extremists.....

Or this one on the history of Mecca:

And a dozen or so other failures I can list. Why do you suppose it is you are unable to reply?

Sorry Pete, but I kinda tuned out to your posts quite a while back. Apart from being too long and rambling, you are rather rather too fanatical with your religious dogma to debate rationally with.

As someone who makes their decisions about a subject, while insisting on self-admitted self-imposed abject ignorance of a subject, your post doesn't come as a surprise either.

So then you have information, that suggests that Mecca existed prior to the 4th century AD?

In the spirit of mindless necroposting purely the sake of petty point scoring...

check out these spineless aplogetics:

You didn't expect it to be easy did you? You can't expect people to join you in your muslim bashing after one or two scare stories. People get tired of getting worked up over each new 'threat' to our society, especially if it is another minority group who are 'all the same'.

Neither is it a Muslim thing.

FD, in light of your own sage advise, do you believe that your antics during the last couple of years is the sort of behaviour that "pushes weaker individuals towards extremism"?

gandalf,

We live in a world of change.

It is encouraging for all of us, when we see examples of how when human individuals, being exposed to, before unseen information, are prepared to 'amend' their views and their opinions.

Yes ?

Quite so Y.

What I can't shake though is the feeling that the FD who wrote these things 7 years ago would label the FD who writes what he writes today as bigoted, narrow minded and baselessly "tarring people with the same brush".

I don't believe FD has become wiser or better informed. Quite the opposite in fact. I actually find this very sad.

In a game of poker, one only becomes 'wiser or better informed' after the game has finished.

After all of the cards are laid down on the table - for everyone to see.

gandalf,

I'm sure that moslems do not gamble.      Tongue

But in my opinion, in a similar fashion, moslems are not disclosing what cards they are holding - in the 'game' they are playing against those who are not moslems.

And it is only with disclosure [or, exposure?] of all of the facts, that a person can make an informed judgement on an issue.

Agree 100%. In 2007 FD correctly criticised those who were making uninformed judgements about muslim issues. Now its almost like he goes out of his way to trash this previous sentiment.
