Quote:
Day One
Instruct the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet to draft legislation to repeal carbon tax, to be ready within a month

Treasurer to notify Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) to suspend its operations

Instruct Treasury to prepare legislation to permanently shut-down the CEFC

So he proudly begins his government with one of the greatest acts of bastardry this country has seen.

If they do, energy bills will still be some 30% to 40% more expensive than they were five years ago. Given that other factors have caused energy prices to increase by 10% or so a year in the past five years, I doubt that energy prices will decrease noticeably if the carbon price is repealed. If that happens - which is likely - only then the Australian public will realise they've been sold a lie.

Further to this lie is the farcical "direct action plan" that will cost as much but be far less transparent in how much it costs the Australian people. The former ALP Government were quite clear with the 9% cost of the carbon price on energy bills. Will Abbott come clean and tell the Australian people exactly how much his globally untried and controversial "direct action plan" will cost them on average? Unlikely. I'm sure the new Opposition will not be as reticent.

Did the Reich suck it up when they lost in 2007? 2010? How many different ways did the Reich misogynists come up with for
KILLING
Gillard?

Abbott and his whole front bench are walking around with targets on their foreheads. Abbott should be put in a chaff bag and dumped at sea....

How long did the Reich astroturfers go around with the "DITCH THE B1TCH" signs? How long did the Reich go around with the "JULIAR" crap? Gillard's been out of office for a few months now, and they're still at it.

Now you want left-leaning members of Australian society to "suck it up"? That is not likely so get used to it.

what a pitiful childish post.  You seem to think that the Opposition shouldn't oppose.  You seem to think (wrongly) that Gillards position as PM was not highly compromised since she had less votes and less seats than the opposition.  You seem to live under this misapprehension that politics is not an adversarial endeavour.

I would like to see a website set up that has all his election promises
eg - Scrap the Carbon tax - Date of implementation and two criterias of measurement, if it is delievered, and if it was delivered but not on time.
