I predicted this type of thing. I remember driving around to various polling stations warning people about the repercussions of voting for the Lib-NP mob. But you know how it is...press a voting slip into the hands of some people and they go crazy. Who knows what's next.

well, that was a complete waste of time and resources wasn't it ?
You damaged the environment driving around.
What a loser you are.

From the above link ...

The Federal Government's moving to clamp down on environmental groups who lobby for company boycotts overseas.

That has been welcomed by forest workers in Tasmania who accuse green groups of spreading half-truths in key markets like Japan.

It's encouraging to see that Abbott is supporting (and is being supported by) forest workers. About time workers got a break. Good on you Abbott Smiley

this is how Abbott will get to be even more popular - by standing up for workers and business against the bully-boys from the greens and labor.  It is exciting watching our economy start to move again.

Indeed it is. About time too!

Many thanks adelcrow for bringing this topic into Oz Politics. Keep up the good work Smiley

Yes, it is oxygen for a sick patient.

And yet Im sure I've seen you support Tony apoligising to Indo for the cattle ban.

This is what you sheeple don't understand, the example given is some fringe group of hippies we can all point at & concluded dole budger/pot smoker/hippie loser & feel self rightist in our acceptance of their concerns being marginalised if not criminalised.

What you fail to see is the actual legislation net casts a wide catch, do you consider someone like Lyn White a dole bludging loser?
Her action encourage consumer boycotts, should she be silenced so you can buy cheap meat?

Well no, not even cheap for you
Should we abandon all ethics so farmers can feed stock poo, kill a cheaply as possible regardless of pain & suffering just to increase profits by 3%.

You do realise this sort of thinking gave us Mad Cow right???
Farmers feeding herbivores the unsaleable parts of their slaughtered brethren

For the self-styled progressives like Adelaide's own Che here, the working class is the enemy of progress. For them, siding with Australian workers is bad because to them the working class is a bunch of rednecks who stand in the way of socialism.

How ridiculous.

How wrong you are. I struck up many new friendships. My dance card is full for the next three months. I met a lady with very large breasts who insisted on giving me her phone number (and she winked at me). At one polling station I met a millionaire who was so impressed with the way I performed my civic duty that he gave me a petrol card and said I could use it any day of the week to top up. So you can see it wasn't a complete waste of time.

In a small mind it is. I am willing to put money on us going to the next election, NO MATTER WHEN IT IS with a worse economy than the last election had.

Like the 2013 election showed an economy a sh*tload worse than when the Government took over in 2007.

Debt increased by 340%
Debt increased by $235,000,000,000
Forecast missed of $107,000,000,000 in just 3 years
Unemployment rising
Business confidence stalling
Six deficits out of six budgets

Yep the last Government sure did a grand job
