I was in Iceland, and missed the entire thing.

I had no idea of the result until a few days ago.

Good times.

Iceland ? Greg, was there still any ice there.  surely $200,000 a year part time aussie of the year TIMMY was right and its now called Lakeland

Iceland is green, and Greenland is icy.

Undecided

Cheesy Cheesy, I heard that, might be a good place to buy real estate if mr flannery is correct,  good farmland.

FUNNIEST MOMENT was during the telecast when Peter Costello hased Wayne Swan what it was like to be the only treasurer in 30 years not to balance the budget.  That smirk was pretty awesome.

RUNNER UP: was again on election night when someone referred to Amanda Vanstones outfit on TV as a 'screen saver'

MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT:  lots of contenders including ABbotts 'sexy' comment but the winner was Rudds 'concession' speech, generally regarded as the worst ever.

Funny - by going back to 1983 he of course had to eliminate John Howard ???? - Costello specifically put the cut off at the poor old fool himself who was turfed in March of that year. Costello also failed to mention that nobody was going to get a surplus in the economic climate.

Not even a chuckle from the audience. That's also funny.

The winner by a big margin.

Still the winner by a mile.

Most of the other stuff isn't even slightly funny.

Albanese gives the impression of being quite capable, but a follower not a leader. I may be totally wrong and he may in fact be blindsiding us all.

The other two are slimy duplicitous egomaniacs, who always have a plan for their own benefit, serving Australia is not part of their plan, serving themselves is.
