I just found it weird that only two people would be, you ledties get offended (selectively of course, depending on who says it) about the smallest things.

The penny dropped......at last.....reading through the pages in chronological order can always be beneficial........ woohoo for education. It is the education era, isn't it?

Some people are slow and dim witted, you talk to them and they respond with a blank, far away stare, eyes glazed, the lights are on but nobody's home. I'm glad you're not like that matty, we need young, vibrant, energetic and alert people in parliament.

why do we still have labour party storys on oz politics

the country voted for a change and a difference, the chance to make a real difference, something labour failed to do for seven years and two pms

Never mind, warrigal, when Tony gets around to it he'll make them illegal.

What's your rationale for that decision, Peter?

Do you know anything about why and how the party was created by Menzies?
Do sum reading young fella

One of the major reasons was the opposition of Communism and Socialism.

Another reason is the United Australia Party were a rabble and got creamed in the 1943 election. Menzies' new Liberal Party first contested the 1946 election.

Something called "freedom of speech", maybe you've heard of it.

They're the opposition party.

Do you have any idea how things work in this country?  Seriously?

I think one of the tweeters summed it up for me in talking about Albanese having "passion". That's the ideal quality for a Labor leader IMO.

Shorten is very capable, but I find him a bit cold.

I'm against capital punishment, however, when it comes to Q&A tweeters I'm willing to make an exception.

He made a rousing speech this morning. I was quite impressed and somewhat surprised. He can deliver, but I don't think Q&A is a medium which suits his persona.
