How many others here are members of a political party?

C'mon, 'fess up.

why did you join the ALP?  serious question.

Im a member of the didyoubringthegrogalong party.  I like it because they are a well grounded party whose roots stem back centuries, as it was formed as an official movement by the small but vocal crackatinny tribe in outback Queensland as an answer to finally being heard by the decision makers.  You could call our coming into existence is a bit like the that of the union movement, but without the corruption and better parties.

I thought that you may have joined the I'mafakeconservative party.

Do they have that in New Zealand?

Here in Australia, we have the right wing of the Labor Party.

Thoughts?

So Peters two self admissions on this forum are

1. He has mental issues.
2. He has joined the Labor Party.

Is it a pre requisite to be a nutcase to join?

You have to laugh that you've admitted two things.

One to being a nutter and the other to joining Labor.

Certainly made me laugh.

A nutcase, a kiwi and a Labor man. What a winner.

Andrei, you really are a low type.

I am not, nor have I ever been a "nutcase". You are a liar.

Like many people I have suffered an illness which is under control.

You are far nuttier than I have ever been.

I would consider joining the GREENS but I do not agree with any party 100 percent enough to tow the line no matter what.
The closest I ever came to joining a political party was Labor when Beasley was leader in Howard's first term. I still have the application form in my bottom kitchen drawer.

I've seen plenty of cases on the news where nutcases who had their issues. " under control" go off the rails.

Once a nutter always a nutter.

Nuttier am I? Sorry mate I have never needed medication to sort out a disorder.

Seems it's not under control if you decide to join a political partying a country in which you can't actually vote?

Sane behaviour? Cheesy  Cheesy

In truth, though, I don't think that many people would agree 100% with every policy of a party, even many politicians themselves. You see division all of the time in both major parties over policy. Not so common with the minor parties, because there are fewer of them, but even there, it happens from time to time.
