The Labor Party and Greens dont need anymore lefties but the Liberal Party does...make changes from the inside

the only reason i would join the liberal party would be to try to push them to the right. they have drifted way too far to the left.

You and half a million other branch-stackees. How do you think candidates like Jaymes Diaz get up?

Do people really join political parties?

Are there funny handshakes, cool furry hats and regular picnics with jumping castles?

Not the Norwood branch of the Libs..we have cups of twinings tea and tim tams  Cheesy

Is that anywhere near Dunedin?

The Dunedin Libs have got a locked cupboard at the Dunedin Masonic Centre now. There's no Tim Tams, but at least the Hunters and Fishers don't steal their supplies since Matty took over as Treasurer.

Best estimate of political party membership is about 112,000. This doesn't include PUP, who won't say, and the Nats, who don't seem to know!

112,000?

Well, butter me on both sides and call me Louise, I never imagined that there's that many. Triple digits perhaps, but not over 100,000.

We've always been a centre to right party. I myself am halfway between centre-right and far-right. The Liberal party is a broad church, but not broad enough for lefties.

PUPs got about a dozen more I would say... and the Nats about double that..lets be honest aussies are so laid back.. or blow hards its hard to tell really..

feast one day famine the next...

as soon as their footy team starts losing.. off they go and sulk until they start coming back again.. ask any of them??...they dont even blame the players anymore.. its the poor coach or even the board Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

you have to buy loyalty today.. so PUP should do alright for a while..

Not the Dunedin Libs or the Ryde Greens. They're independent.

This is why the Libs are a bored church.

Exactly. When Matty joined they were more about animal welfare.
