He has nothing, he said his policy on the boats would make a difference from day one, the laughable thing is he doesnt have a policy and the only difference he is making is in seeing how much he can screw up foreign policy by offending the Indos., one of our biggest export markets. In 6 months even gumps like you will be praying for a change of government.

Every drowning of The Usual Suspects arriving at Indonesia's airports these past 20 years has been the result of the Indonesian authorities having sponsored the traffic of human cargo through their country and out onto the waters towards Australia.

So where does Indonesia sit in this blame game?

How many drowned during KRUDD's and DILLARD's terms? Don't they bare 99.9% of any blame you want to dole out? KRUDD abolished the Howard Government's successful solution, DILLARD continued in the same vein , and again KRUDD resumed his incompetence for a second time.

Indonesia takes the blame for allowing people smuggling in the first place. We must accept the blame for the way asylum seekers are treated.

The constant attempts at scoring points off the other side on this issue, which endlessly fills this forum, is pathetic. Both are equally guilty.

Herbert, if you want to talk to me, whether abusively or not (usually abusively because that's your style) I'd appreciate it if you would spell my name correctly.

Thank you.

You have the weak and spineless in Australian politics who aren't the blame but haven't helped the issue. But the people that are the blame are criminals and corrupt officials. Everybody else just has an opinion.

I honest to God think you're having a lend of us. You can't possibly be this naive.

Indonesia must take the blame for allowing migrants-in-transit to disembark at their airports for the sole purpose of getting to Australia by sea.

Let me get this right

(1) The boat was sinking 50 meters
(2) The survivors are blaming Australia

Why are they too scared to blame Indonesia?????

I think you’l find the leftards are blaming Mr Abbott for being a soft touch and attracting all these illegals, Maqqa.

What’s it got to do with Indonesia? Mr Abbott is the prime minister.

It’s so unfair.

It's baffling how we were responsible for deaths at sea when Rudd and Gillard were the leaders, remember the squawking of the righties....."blood on their hands, they've got blood on their hands"

enter Abbott

were not responsible for deaths at sea

crazy shenanigans!!!!....this government is just as responsible as the previous one was

Except this government is trying to stop people smuggling, not sponsoring it through bad policies.

Soon Abbott will stop the boats and it will be one less thing for us to fight about, if he stays in long enough we'll all become good friends.

That’s right, CL. Mr Abbott refused to play any part in JuLiar’s unfair Malaysian solution.

Sure, it might have saved lives at sea, but Mr Abbott doesn’t like Malaysians.

Also, he did say that only a Coalition government could stop the boats.

Why won’t they stop?

That’s a relief, Innocent. I guess we just need to take Mr Abbott on trust.

He did say he wants to stop the boats.

Anyway, they’re not so big a problem anymore. They’ve been downgraded to minor irritant.
