It has...  people are being returned to Indonesia instead of being escorted to Xmas island.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Who? has there been a boat turned back which hasnt been reported? Is this why Tony ran away?

Its important to discern the difference between left and right reality here, to a righty a boat load of fake reffos getting picked up and taken back to Indonesia is a boat load of fake reffos getting taken back to Indonesia but to the left a boat load of fake reffos getting picked up and taken back to Indonesia really means they are still enroute and will be hitting a centrelink near you real soon  Grin

You really do have an obsession with Centrelink, haven't you?

Scared they'll push you out of the queue?

I'm sure everyone appreciates the clean toilets.  No real need for a plaque.

Let me get this right

(1) The boat was sinking 50 meters
(2) The survivors are blaming Australia

Why are they too scared to blame Indonesia?????

No, Maqqq. Once again you are misrepresenting the truth. It ran into trouble 25 Nautical miles out. Survivors have claimed they contacted Australian authorities well before it sank.

Quote:
IMMIGRATION Minister Scott Morrison has finally responded to questions over an asylum seeker boat which sank off the coast of Indonesia.

Mr Morrison said Australian authorities were initially in charge of the search for the asylum seeker vessel after receiving a phone call about the incident yesterday morning.

Initial reports placed the vessel 25 nautical miles off the Indonesian coast, inside the Indonesian search and rescue region, but a Border Protection Command aircraft and a merchant vessel responding to an all ships broadcast were unable to find it.

The search and rescue operation is now being handled by Indonesian authorities, Mr Morrison said.

Actually I understand both are correct, it reported difficulties and turned back but ran out of petrol for its pump and foundered close to shore.

None the less, it was at all times much closer to Indonesia than Oz, but of course they wanted to be picked up by Oz crafts to get to da sugar on da table.

But still ya gotta admire the selective outrage of the luvvies, not a frigging peep over the last six years despite at best estimates about 1500 drowned.

Pathetic, you need to take a good hard look at yourselves and your moral flexibility and selective blindness.

I'm all in favour of the Grappler Party policy of onshore processing.  Set 'em up in resorts and feed 'em well, employ Aussies to be their batmen, process at leisure in safety, and send all the undesirables to Afghanistan under our new Convict Colony Initiative.  50% for Japanese/Chinese tourists while on a house hunting expedition, or maybe looking for a million acre farm to buy....

Convert the resorts to old people's homes when no longer in use, retain the staff to look after THEM, develop new resorts for the ongoing flood...

Never-ending cycle of new development, safe and comfortable processing, full paying income form tourism, and ongoing use of the property.....

I think Innocent is referring to the ones that have sunk. These don’t count to the leftards.

Only Mr Abbott can STOP THE BOATS.

Exactly. And the leftards refuse to give the right any credit for it.

They’re so negative.
