It's all going to come down to the timing. If Abbott signs us up to the TPP before he introduces his PPL legislation, companies will be allowed to sue us for expected lost profits. And we'll be sued not in an Australian court but a special court, a trade tribunal with three judges, or more acurately three corporate lawyers on leave from their corporate job. They make the decision about how much Australian tax payers have to pay the corporations.
