Enezi also took part in a rally on Saturday to push for actions against the coffee shops especially in the al-Jahra area, where other MPs, residents and religious figures accused the shops of promoting vice.

“Such coffee shops have no room in our society as they violate our very traditions and customs as well as the spirit of the Constitution which stipulates the state's responsibility in maintaining the values of the family considered as the core of the community and in protecting the youth,” Gulf News quoted him as saying.

As-salam alaykum brothers and sisters. It is a well known fact in polite Islamic society (an oxymoron for sure) that consumption of coffee leads to immoral behaviour. I myself was raped by 4 women after what I thought was an innocent visit to Mo's Coffee Lounge and Emporium. Four women poured coffee into me and then when I was having trouble trying to control my raging erection they took it in turns to rape me.

I think the only sensible thing to do is ban coffee. The frothing-at-the-mouth lunatics in our religion will find some passage in the Kran that says coffee is evil. Islam is that mad and its that madness that attracted me to the alleged religion in the first place.

Funnily enough, the same claim was made about Coffee Houses in 18th century England. Hot beds of licentiousness apparent. Often had brothels attached to them. It is one reason why the UK determinedly turn to Tea drinking in the 19th century according to one historian I'm aware of. The respectable ladies didn't like their men going off to drink Coffee and consorting with naughty ladies of negotiable virtue. Tea could be brewed easily at home. Much better for English family life! Grin

Examined? Muslims suffer something more akin to Open-Heart Surgery, daily here, than a mere "examination" of their views/beliefs/attitudes/religion.
