Two Boats Arrived In Two Days
Oct 21st, 2013 at 10:35pm

Christmas Island residents are reporting that 170 asylum seekers arrived on two separate boats in the past two days.

Where is Abbott? He should stop posing with fire fighters and stop the boats!

Stop the boats!

Yes Abbott is stopping the boats. Unfortunately they are stopping on our shores.

Abbott didn't say exactly where he would stop the boats did he?

No, he did not. You might be onto something there.

Maybe Scott Morrison can announce that at his briefing next week - after another dozen boats get stopped by the sandy shore of Christmas Island.

Land ahoy!

Aye aye, Captain. They are certainly stopping.

Only Mr Abbott could work such maritime magic.

Somehow the message still isn't getting out that they'll never be settled in Australia.

Like it or not, boat arrivals are down a considerable amount since Abbott became PM. Expect that to continue following the deportation of around 70 people from SL within 5 days of their arrival here by boat. The message: you won't get in, so don't waste your money.

im pretty sure 99% of Australians are going to be very happy with the results so far.

Unfortunately, it seems that the other 1% of the nutters write on this forum.

The boats had slowed down prior to the election thanks to Rudd's PNG Solution and Abbott is continuing with this policy.

He is being given false credit.

As his ministers are gagged and Abbott chooses to run the government in secrecy with whispers behind closed doors - you don't know what the truth is.

secrecy, wtf, tune into 2GB on Monday Moring.. The immigration minister gives a report every week and his sending them back as quick as they arrive unlike the previous government that kept them in dentition for long periods of time costing us a fortune only to dump them on Australian streets with little or no security and background checks depleting Australian charities resources.
