Have a look at the videos above of what some of our honest politicians and farmers are saying about the green movement. Quote:...and yet the bulk of the farmers in rural Australia have joined forces with the green movement and environmental activists to counter the push for FORCED corporately run fracking on their land
Youre a supporter of fracking aren't you Mr Ajax freak Umm no they haven't..at the election down here (in Hume), the Greens candidate got 5.7% of the vote. That's a -1.9% swing, and at my local polling place, there wasn't even a person handing out Greens 'how vote' leaflets. (guess they didn't want to get laughed at??) Why do you detest a clean, renewable, sustainable, Non-materialistic, compassionate and FAIR society?
You must accept Beelzebub into your heart. I don't detest any of the above, which is why I'm anti-Green. If you want to find people who are in favour of 'clean and sustainable', go talk to farmers. And I AM Beelzebub. ( at least according to the Christian Life Centre) Farmers? Clean and sustainable? I am assuming you are talking about the conventional commercial agricultural farmer.
Lets see,
Introduced non suitable plants and animals to Australia in order to mimic the rolling fields of England. And by non suitable plants and animals I mean WEEDS and PESTS
Lets see
Cleared vast natural stretches of forests and tree cover and erected fences, then commenced a slaughter of native animals and plants. Apparently Kangaroos became pests.
Lets see
Totally stuffed up the natural salinity and ground water levels of many parts of Australia, due to the removal of deep rooted native trees and vegetation.
Lets see
Introduced rabbits, mice, rats etc including the cane toad that was supposed to tackle the cane beetle. We still have the cane beetle pest problem and have an even bigger cane toad problem.
DO you know what Farmers in Victoria for example are most complaining about?
The salinity of their soil, WHICH they buggered up.
So if you wish to support clean and sustainable practices I suggest that you contact some elders in indigenous communities around Australia. QED You mean the people who used deliberately lit bush fires as a method of grocery shopping?? Farmers (and I mean independent, family farms, not commercial ones) are far more invested in sustainability and care of their environment than the average Green. If the farmers don't care, or get it wrong, they go broke. If environmentalists get it wrong, they just go back to their uni course, or hairdressing job, or the dole officer, and try again later. p.s love the big font...Did I hit a nerve?
