Climate Change Authority a farce

The Federal Government's independent climate policy adviser has declared Australia's emissions reduction target inadequate and not credible.

In a draft report on emissions reduction targets, the Climate Change Authority says Australia's commitment to cutting emissions by 5 per cent from 2000 levels by 2020 would leave Australia lagging behind other comparable countries like the United States.

Climate Change Farce an Authority!

I infinitely preferred the days when such things were rightly called commissions - they were commissioned to do the job on behalf of Her Maj on behalf of The People as Sovereign - not handed some strange Central European title of Ordnung!! carrying with it all the misconception of POWER over all within its purview!!

Of course the targets were always going to be unattainable, and in any case are totally swamped by the endless burn-offs of rain forest (orang utan habitat) in Indonesia (free fire zone to spot potential boat people?) and of course our trading partner, China with its quazzillions of of stacks spewing Carbon gas into Mother Air.......

SAVE AN ORANG UTAN TODAY ......

300 Billion Dollars in Debt and nothing to show for it along with sky high utility bills even though we have all of the coal, gas and uranium...

Australian power needs should be for free...

over the past 15 years the temperature hasn't changed with only a difference of .083 of one degree... even though, the industrious world has increased by billions of people punching out more and more carbon dioxide...

the evidence is there people... man made global warming is a lie...

Some people have short memories, I still remember some old bloke who was punched in the face and died because he was using a hose, but as it turned out he was using his hose on a day he was allowed too.

we had to use a bucket during restrictions. it used more water than a hose and so most people still used a hose... on the lawn.

during the worst of the drought Mildura had green parks and green verges and green lawns because everyone used murray water in blatant violation of the restrictions - including the council.

I washed my car with a hose. no regrets. I especially washed my car with a hose when the drought was over, the reervoirs were full and literally overflowing but the BoM declared we were still in a drought. maybe they should have looked out the window.

The 2% that Australia supposedly contributes to the planets climate change wont matter a cracker if the percentage was 0%.

It made them look very silly.
