Many of these people are actually Irish Tinkers with no connection whatsoever with genuine gypsies. These are the people which leave disgusting messes when they are turfed-off usually council land which they take over. This problem has reached such proportions in many counties that the councils have established sites with water and power, in industrial areas, out of sight of the public. This idea is of course a Labour run council legacy.

The difference is that Poms came in Australia as convicted criminals and Irish as POLITICAL PRISONERS who fought to liberate Ireland from British occupation
That's why in today's Australia crime among population with Irish origin is negligible in comparison with those with British convict background.
