Sickening sight - Shorten honours Soldiers
Nov 3rd, 2013 at 6:23pm

Made me reach for the puke bucket watching Bill Shorten trying to look statesman like in Afghanistan.

The sight of that Union thug, turd and hatchetman raving on to true heros rates as the disgusting  moment in Politics this week. Can't get any worse but with Shorten that dirty little thug around it's bound to.

Could have been Abbott.

That's worse.

In EVERY way.

I would wager that if Tony Abbott saved the life of a young child who was drowning in the surf at a beach and would surely have died if not for his help, you'd still find some way of criticising him for it. You're pathetic.

Unlike Gillard, who made an attempt at political point scoring over Abbott going when she was PM. That was poor form, even for her.

Shorten will have plenty of opportunities to show a public face on behalf of the ALP for the simple reason that Abbott is absent.

Shorten is an opportunist and he will get the publicity that Abbott is going to such great lengths to avoid.

Abbott needs to come out of hiding.

Only a grub like the Baron would choose to politicise an elected official paying respect to our soldiers.

Let's be realistic Cods. Abbott is supposed to be the face of Australia. If he doesn't want to be that, because he's basically an introvert, then others will take his spot in the limelight.

People want to know what's going on and if they don't know the facts - they will speculate.

Look what happened to Rudd because he was always overseas.

I saw one pic of him witha group at the fires.. and out they came and called him  all sorts of names.someone even suggested he should be shaking hands or sitting behind a desk.. thats what PMs do..

I fail to see what is sickening about honouring our soldiers.  They were given a difficult job to do and did it very well.
