Senior Libs bicker about repealing the carbon tax.
Nov 5th, 2013 at 12:35pm

In the lead up to the last election, I made a donation to the ALP of which I am not a Member.  Ever since, they have been sending me (and I'm sure everyone else who donated or is a Member) regular bulletins about what they reckon is going on.  Received this one today:

Quote:
In just over a week the Government will move legislation to roll back action on climate change: their answer is to give taxpayers’ money to big polluters and deliver no action on climate change.

Labor accepts the science of climate change and we know we need effective action. That’s why on Friday Bill Shorten and I announced that we would only support the repeal of the carbon tax if the Government supports our amendments for an emissions trading scheme with a cap on pollution.

Meanwhile Tony Abbott is taking some heat from his colleagues who don’t agree with him.

Both Joe Hockey and Julie Bishop aren’t happy with their Government’s position and although Tony Abbott won’t listen to me, he might just pay attention to his most senior Ministers.

Can you call their offices and urge them to support our amendments to move to emissions trading in keeping with more than 40 other countries around the world? **Click here for their phone numbers.

We need to take a stand because we cannot afford to leave the challenge of climate change to future generations.

**Click here and get their phone numbers so you can call Joe Hockey and Julie Bishop to tell them you want effective action on climate change.

If you have friends and family who care about climate change too, forward this email to them and ask them to pick up the phone as well.

We’re on the right side of science and we’ll be on the right side of history. Together we can stand up for what we believe is right.

Thank you for your support,

Mark Butler
Shadow Minister for the Environment, Climate Change and Water

So, maybe Abbott is copping it from his own, wot?

luckily you don't get to decide which topics are bogus Grendal you can only chose to reply or ignore it,

by telling us it was bogus all you did was push it back up to the top of the list instead of letting it run of the page. Thanks.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

and you believe hockey and Bishop are 'at odds' over it because a failed labor minister says so??  assuming there is ANY truth in it at all it would be a matter of 'details not substance' if indeed it is true at all.

how about a credible source for once?

No wonder Hockey is pissed ..Abbotts gonna keep handing out the compensation which balanced out the carbon price for low to middle income households while expecting Hockey to find billions to pay for direct action.

This whole thing is an expensive unfunded abortion of an idea.

You should stop wasting your time.

A Shadow Minister has made a very public statement, and I believe he would only have done so on solid ground.

Or, are you telling me that the Shadow Minister has just left himself wide open for successful defamation action?

Huh, Grendel?

Thanks for that exclusive news Aussie. I gave nothing to any of the political parties because I have more respect for my money. My ingrained asteism has helped me compose a bulletin which I send weekly to ALP H/Q addressed to all the maggots there. I told them that each one of the organisations alleged MPs amount to little more than mattoids. So far I haven’t received any correspondence which dismisses my accusations.

The ALP, the progressive party, the party of ideas, the workers' friend, is the only Australian political party to roast four young Australians in roof cavities. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!

Can't imagine why they would ignore you?  Can you think of any reason for that?

This is yet another bogus topic...
if you don't like hearing the truth don't whinge about it post the truth for a change.

Please post links to any quotes from Hockey or Bishop or anyone, (except Turnbull of course, who as an ex-banker wanted an ETS) that is causing disruptions within the Coalition.
If not admit this is just another beat up and as such is
yet another BOGUS topic.
