If GST rises by 5%, then your income must also rise by 5%. Which means you will either become unemployed or underpaid. Choose wisely

Allowed? So women depend on that decision by authorities, they don't just decide to start driving lessons, they've got to make sure they are allowed.
Just re read your own post.

Are men allowed to drive? Should we be kind and let them drive?
Full of racism and discrimination, the lot of you, I don't believe there are any decent Muslims.

Good grief. Hysterical much?

Look at what I was responding to:

Good to see they are following allah's and muhammad's lead: women are stupid, they are the majority of people in hell etc etc

The point being, because women are *NOT ALLOWED* to drive in Saudi Arabia, it is "following allah's and muhammad's lead" - and therefore consistent with islam.

I just pointed out that in all but one muslim country women *ARE ALLOWED* to drive. The word *ALLOW* was in direct response to moses' insinuation that *NOT ALLOWING* women to drive is perfectly consistent with islam.

The word allowed suggests you have the right to let or not let. In this case women are allowed, why should this I even be considered.
In Australia I just go to RTA to pass the test, I don't check the latest radical religious policies to ensure I won't stoned, I don't even consider this word "allowed", I simply do as I wish, so long I am safe driver
And with regards to this, should I dig out some of TrueColours comments where he mentioned that a women is "not allowed" to show her face in front of men?

Evil and "follow Satanic teaching" are not the same thing.  It's not like they are worshiping demons.

I wasn't aware the Koran mentioned women's driving rights.

Satan is referred to evil, satan is evil, is he/she/it not?
Koran mentioned many other crazy things, driving issues is not the biggest problem
Now bugger off troll, I don't have time for you  Smiley

Satan is in fact mentioned in both the Bible and the Koran as a particular entity (and yes both as evil)  Not sure why that makes Islamic teaching "satanic"

Right, so you agree that imposing a ban on women driving is not in fact in accordance with Islamic teaching?

Why are you asking me? Go ask the Saudis - its their law, and I condemn it. I also made the point that this policy of theirs of *NOT ALLOWING* women to drive is *NOT* representative of islam or indeed of what most muslims believe.

I can't believe that some people have such cardboard caricature views of what Muslims are like. Some of the funniest, most easy going people I have ever met have been in Qatar, and they happened to be Muslims. They only swore in English LOL.

Awww .. No! What a shame ...

Quote:
A young British man who boasted of fighting ‘5-star jihad’ in Syria has been killed, his family has revealed.

Ifthekar Jaman, 23, died at the weekend in a battlefield clash 2,000 miles from his Hampshire home.

He was one of an estimated 350 British men to have taken up arms with Al Qaeda-linked groups in Syria – where they are known as British Kataa’ib, meaning British Brigade.

Speaking a month ago, Jaman declared he was ready to die as a martyr, vowing: ‘I don’t plan to come back. Life is for the hereafter... it’s an eternal paradise so the sacrifice is small.’

That's what I thought ~ and it's a pity his family doesn't seem to understand that his fondest hopes have been granted him by Allah.

That still leaves over 300 'British' Muslims in Syria waiting to be granted their heavenly reward.

We can only hope their prayers are answered.
