They don't like the way things are going at Warsaw so they are just not going to play the game.

Surprised? Not at all. It's always their way or the highway.
Basically the Green movement consists of adolescent protesters who haven't realised it's time to grow up in a real world.

Climate talks in trouble as green groups walk out
AFP
By Mariette Le Roux | AFP – 12 hours ago

Exasperated green groups walked out of faltering UN climate talks in Warsaw on Thursday as rich and poor nations bickered about who must do what to curb planet warming.

Negotiators were at loggerheads on the penultimate day of talks over divvying up responsibility for cutting greenhouse-gas emissions and scaling up aid to poor states vulnerable to climate change effects.

In a dramatic flourish, six environment and development groups walked out, saying the annual round of talks had delivered little more than hot air since opening on November 11.

"The Warsaw climate conference, which should have been an important step in the just transition to a sustainable future, is on track to deliver virtually nothing," said a statement announcing the groups' decision to "voluntarily withdraw".

The signatories are Greenpeace, WWF, Oxfam, ActionAid, the International Trade Union Confederation and Friends of the Earth.

They claimed more than 800 UN-accredited observers were part of the mass protest.

The groups pointed the finger at Poland for its "endorsement" of a global coal summit held in the same city and at the same time as the climate talks. They also singled out Japan for slashing its carbon emissions goal, and Australia for its decision to scrap a carbon tax on high emitters.

"Governments here have delivered a slap in the face to those suffering as a result of dangerous climate change," said Greenpeace executive director Kumi Naidoo.

Non-governmental organisations attend the talks as observers and advisors. Decision-making is reserved for UN member states.

The unfortunate fact is the whole of science now is tarnished by the actions of the so called 'climate scientists'.

But they were all happy to add "impact of climate change" to any funding request made so I suppose they deserve to be locked out for a while.

Countless Billions $$$ pissed up the wall and we struggle to predict a smacking dryspell or above ave rainfall scenario a month in advance.  Absolutely no flow on research benefits to date. Just bullsh1t models programmed to meaningless CO2 vagaries.

Talk about being taken hostage by alarmist fraudsters, time for the real scientists to stand up and dump on these shysters from a great height.

They are conflating charity groups with environmentalists and therefore drawing totally invalid conclusions.

The only people who don't believe in anthropogenic global warming are gullible flakes, and they are on the endangered list.

All climate scientists believe in anthropogenic global warming.  A tiny minority may claim otherwise for their personal financial benefit, but we're talking Atmospheric Physics 101. To claim that increasing CO2 concentration does not result in increased radiative forcing, is lunacy.

I don't think anyone disagrees, but it is such a small consequence, the benefits of it as plant food outweighs.

You and your ilk have not proven any amplifications of h2o effects caused by humans % of the trace gas co2.

Most sane people know co2 agw has been a witch hunt by the socialists looking for a way in, a way to control. They almost got there too.

Yeah Nah....when it comes to turning up at a UN wankfest they are one and the same.

Isn't it noticeable that only the scantest media has come out from the past two weeks of wankery in Warsaw, and most of it from the doddery old fool rehashing fringe alarmists claptrap misinformed gravy train sucking blog sites of no consequence.

Name all these scientists, you need to substantiate your assertions or else everything you say is utter bullsh1t and your a lunatic and clearly on the endangered list. Did you notice that your 97% consensus took a haircut this week, about 50% now, ouch....you must be terribly concerned that this is catastrophic for your climate change $$$ industry ?

No temp rise but co2 continues to rise, "please explain" you may need to enrol in Atmospheric Physics 102 as the basic premise espoused in 101 is clearly inadequate, the theory may be linear, but in practice substantially more complicated and effectively a known unknown.

Is this the time to link us all to that nice little youtube video of two bottles some co2 and a couple of heat lamps and thermometers - I can say that that really convinced me never to live in a sealed glass bottle (because that is just so representative of the earth)  Grin Grin Grin

Now, just where is the catastrophic global warming???  is it really hiding in the deep oceans or is it in the snow at the poles.....or has it nipped out to the solar system and can be found firmly planted in Uranus?
