Things that are not conservative are not all communistic. And communistic is not a bad thing in itself.

Direct Action is not progressive, it is conservative communism. I used this so to help you understand the difference between Progressive verses Communism, and it's close relation, Abbott's Conservatism.

Calling oneself progressive while pushing policies that are conservative sends a mixed message.
