I think we need to clarify matters here.
It's not that Australians don't distrust Muslims. [We must be very careful here to distinguish between Muslims (of all denominations) and their faith.]
Our problem is with Islam and the way it is being infiltrated into our already established society - with its own established religious dogmas.
With Islam, however, we have only to read our own newspapers (let alone international news), to discover that the fervent adherents of said faith are as divided among themselves just as much as their Christian counterparts - whom they are all sworn to subjugate, if not eliminate.
Their more fanatical adherents have no respect for human life. Their appalling acts of terrorism and atrocity are justified and celebrated by religious/political cabals that have no connection within the majority of Muslim people.
We hear a lot about 'moderate' Muslims. We rarely hear about the planners - the elite behind the politics and the money.
Is it possible that they, themselves, do not agree?
Perhaps that's why we never hear from them - Islam must be united.
In their zeal to establish the next Ummah, the non-combative casualties from among their own are not considered when compiling a body-count of the infidel. Their own dead, apparently, are sacrifices to the greater good.
It is written.
But even to accept the people is enough to begin the transformation.
As we have seen - time and time again. Examples are writ large all over the world. Country after country.
Two Arabs in Broken Hill all those years ago? What does it matter?
What we are witnessing in our streets now is the accumulation and collection of those same loyalties and fanaticism exhibited all those years ago.
Islam does not change.
Show me one majority Islamic Government that openly protects religious freedom of choice and its practitioners!
Anyone?
